Corten steel looks rusty, but is really posh.

really trendy...not posh. Probably really expensive... Will just look run down in a couple years or maybe already. It doesn't look friendly or touchable...It certainly doesn't look monumental or futuristic unless they are going for a"Mad Max Post-Apocalyptic Thunderdome" style. I guess the thought was, it will continue to rust and they won't have to do any maintenance...
Maybe they should distress everything...Go ahead and maket everything look worn, stained and dirty, tyhen claim it is the look they are going for....and voila~! no maintenance!

I remember EPCOT having some pretty spectacular day shows on the lagoion...Surprise In The Skies, the afore mentioned Skylaidescope...it was for the summer as I remember.....That was when the double decker busses would travel around world showcase....you could jump on and off... All these little things made the visit to EPCOT seem so much more complete and full of things to do... now it is just food festivals, drinking around the world, a couple attractions and a flex space...lol

And sadly, still my favorite park.

Mine too honestly... not that I don't love the MK... I just wish it still had the feel of the 1971 park...but that is the world... all the little details have become broad brush strokes... no more street cars and horse drawn jitneys, no more swan boats and skyways... now it just feels like a marching throng...and crazy long lines for everything....

I’ve seen limited Main Street Vehicles operating at MK - which is good and better than nothing. But it’s actually difficult to ride them - CM’s don’t seem eager to want passengers. I was completely ignored by multiple CM’s at vehicles who continued to talk to co-workers when I was obviously standing by the vehicle. It’s very different in California. Maybe I just had really bad luck.

I don’t know if horse trolleys ever operate for guests at MK - only time I saw it out it was being used by the dapper dans for a show - there were so many docker clad managers surrounding it I couldn’t get a good photo.

Fortunately…. We still have Disneyland :)

Last week in the morning the horse trolley was running, for regular guests I believe,,I could be wrong but thought I saw people riding it.........Noticing that a lot now as there seems to be way too many managers anymore standing around doing much of nothing, chatting together and blocking guests at things, I dont quite get it.
