Given it size as you mentioned, they shouldn’t have built it in the middle of The Settlement.with the size of this hotel and number of rooms they should probably have their own entry drive in...keep the parking and roadways separate
I agree...they could have pushed the while thing farther away from the Settlement and maintained some sightlines... at least a little bit.Given it size as you mentioned, they shouldn’t have built it in the middle of The Settlement.
Parking is separate. And it will have its own entry. The issue is the supporting road infrastructure.with the size of this hotel and number of rooms they should probably have their own entry drive in...keep the parking and roadways separate
Give me some time to check and I’ll get back on this.One thing I haven't been able to figure out is if there's a club-level lounge for the cash side of the resort.
@HauntedPirate Any ideas?

Did some looking and I could not find a club-level lounge for the cash side. The only lounge I see is on level 3, off of the main lobby/entrance.
Where are you looking? Is there a recorded doc? If so, what’s the instrument #, please?Did some looking and I could not find a club-level lounge for the cash side. The only lounge I see is on level 3, off of the main lobby/entrance.
This is what he posted earlier:Where are you looking? Is there a recorded doc? If so, what’s the instrument #, please?
Not personally involved, actually. But the company I work for has some material involvement with it. Which means blueprints, architectural drawings, etc.![]()
There is some kind of Food & Beverage marked on level 1 (which is also open-air to level 2), but I believe that's the hotel's Market.There's a mention of concierge on level 1, but that's also where back-of-house stuff is. I don't think they'd put it there. Do you?
@HauntedPirate - you wouldn't happen to have a unit count on Duo Studios? The full breakdown is surely a lot of work, so I'll be self-serving and only ask about the one unit type.![]()

That already has the security gate for WL, so that won't work. But even bypassing that, you want them to then funnel 900 rooms of new vehicle traffic plus buses onto W Wilderness Rd, which is currently a 2 lane road?Seems like they could use Timberline Rd right off World Drive as a dedicated entrance connecting to W Wilderness and right into the new resort... At least that would keep Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness and Lakeshore Lodge having distinct entrances and less confusing for guests...
This is why I’m very curious what the plan is here. There’s no good easy option.That already has the security gate for WL, so that won't work. But even bypassing that, you want them to then funnel 900 rooms of new vehicle traffic plus buses onto W Wilderness Rd, which is currently a 2 lane road?
If how they’ve recently treated the Poly is any indication, I think the approach will be “strain existing infrastructure and amenities to their breaking point”They consistently share busses between FW and WL, and between WL and Contemporary. At least in the multiple different times of year that I've stayed at WL, I've had that experience. Very curious how they approach that strategy once this opens
Which sucks because it is infuriating to depart from WL, drive in the opposite direction to Contemporary, just to then go backwards to HSIf how they’ve recently treated the Poly is any indication, I think the approach will be “strain existing infrastructure and amenities to their breaking point”
