I ate there last month and it was laughably bad...i mean bad and the options were dismal.
This whole operation needs to be completely shut down, gutted to the studs and rethought... There should be a section of the restaurant that reflects the New Orleans Riverbend aspect with it's own counters and service area...seperate from the Burger n taco menu... Or completely gut and turn it into a more earnest attempt at doing a Tiana's Palace type restaurant...with an all "Louisiana style" menu with Gumbo, fried chicken, salads and burgers...then at the transition from Big Thunder to Auto Parts Mountain National Park, add another QS that would have a little southwest and whatever anthropomorphic cars eat in the National Parks...
Honestly if Big Thunder had some more space it would be grand to have a restaurant overlooking the buttes and mine trains... That would be the location for Tx-Mex and Southwestern/ Mexican offerings.....
Honestly if they just cloned the menu of Sassagoula Floatworks and retheming slightly they'd be sorted but I suspect its not as simple as that.

We should have gotten a version of Cosmic Rewind instead of the Avengers ride they’re building. Too bad.

With so many good Marvel characters, it makes sense why there is an Avengers ride coming there though; especially if those characters can't be used in Orlando. I kind of like each coast having different reasons to visit too, it makes my journeys out to Cali that much more special! (WDW prob over 30 times, DL i think 4?)

All this complaining about Pecos. Has everyone forgot about Pinocchio? It's honestly the worst place in the park to eat.
I’ve only eaten there a couple times and the food left no impression on me at all but I’ve encountered plenty of bad guests service and had unpleasant situations with other guests there mainly due to the building being overcrowded and having no good flow of traffic for guests to move through.

I'd go so far as to say USF is the worst park not just of the 7 big dogs in Florida, but even if you added the three big dogs over in California.

The hyperbole people sink into about how much EPCOT and MK have been "gutted" or "attacked" is the reality of what has actually happened at USF.

It's why I think Disney fans sometimes really don't realize how good they really have it.
I also put it lower than Seaworld Orlando + Busch Gardens Tampa IMO
It doesn't have the thrilling awesome coasters of those parks or the cohesive theming. I'm not pretending like either of those parks have the best theming ever but there is certainly an attempt to have decent cohesiveness to the whole thing and Universal Orlando is such an odd mismatch of "concepts" that are barely realized. We have still around 1/3 of the park being full on you're on a movie set, this is how movies are made. Then the 1/3 of it is that you're in the world of these movies but not done nearly as well as any of the other IP lands except for Diagon of course. Then you have the weird stragglers like MIB & Animal Actors & ET (don't replace ET but it's definitely off in its own kinda nonsensical area. Then the other 1/3 of it is just the cities with associated IP (kinda) because F&F iirc takes place in LA not SanFran so it makes just as much sense to put it over by Hollywood.

Let's not even talk about the minions land which are just painted soundstages because they didn't go for the facades to make the land look cohesive either. Just a very odd mismatch of concepts.

No ride at Epic is nearly as good as Rise.

I actually found Epic to be the weakest Disney/Universal park by a decent margin.
Monster’s ride being the clear highlight.
Ministry absolutely leaves Rise in the dust. It does a similar thing - putting you in the middle of a chaotic battle - so much better then Rise that it highlights just how spare and empty much of the Disney attraction really is.

I have to disagree, Ministry did very little for me and as grand an approach as they took, it still felt very much like being in front of a screen nonstop. Rise may have lost its luster a little bit for me after several years but it still reigns king in my opinion. Physical sets, overall story, etc.

Queue is a different story
Ministry is packed with AAs and practical sets. They blend perfectly with the screens.

I can't give a great opinion of Ministry because it stopped twice while we were on it, after waiting almost 4 hours. But Monsters Unchained is a masterpiece and a great blueprint for a villains dark ride. Find a way to bring all the characters together in a cohesive story and make you a part of the action.

My only complaint is that It's a one trick pony from a ride system perspective. Still incredible. And loads of fun. Best bang for your buck in the park.

I have full faith that Disney wants to take the undisputed best dark ride throne and will not cut corners on this one. Even if they end up cutting budgets on other projects.

I ended up like Ministry less than ToT or Rise tbh. It was kinda my disappointment of the trip (not that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan but I did think it would be better)

I LOOOOVED Ministry - super unique, and the big reveals were massive & impressive to me. If the park fast tracks two attractions to even out the experience for everyone, it would be pretty loved. But no one wants to wait 2-4 hours for something & that is causing a lot of the backlash.

With the number of times this thread becomes an EU thread, maybe we should rename it to "Villains Land and Epic Universe"
