(i have a Japanese spotify account thanks to my old job) the music is nice with headphones and no character voices! in every video i’ve seen either the floats are moving too fast to hear more than 15 seconds of the loop or it’s just the Starlight theme the entire time

Yeah…. Someone mentioned it makes her look more like Marilyn Monroe than Elsa.

If they want to make the parade 5 times better they could replace Elsa with Olaf. Olaf makes everyone smile!
I believe it was me who originally made that Marilyn Monroe comment, but it was more a combination of the wig, the dress, and the particular facial structure of the performer, and not because of any fan. I certainly didn't notice any fan when I saw the show!

Listening to soundtrack, it's so frustrating they don't just do the show mix, Instead they have to do odd extended versions of the songs that have bad cutoffs that don't have the individual versions of the Starlight theme for some reason. Whatever I'm sure someone will make a full show mix on YouTube instead of whatever this is.

It’s nice that Disney officially releases stuff now a days but still not as good as what TDL releases. We still end up having to wait for leaks of the full soundtrack to piece things together lol.

Comparing today’s nighttime parades with older ones is like comparing today’s playgrounds to older ones

I just finished listening to the soundtrack, and although I am excited to listen on demand after experiencing Starlight multiple times in person, unfortunately, this recently released version is a bit of a letdown because it isn't the parade version with the background track that smoothly connects each float. Instead, it features separate tracks with abrupt cuts at the end. Even more, the tracks are out of order and entirely instrumental. The only voice clip is the introduction; they could have included the characters' lines, but chose not to. I hope another version will be released that presents the whole parade continuously. Also, it was hard to find on YouTube Music. I had to bring it up by the composer's name.

Meh sounds like another botched up thing, They they never do this right, we always get some half baked off version released. Probably just better playing one of the youtube videos, some are better than others.

Putting the tracks in order was an easy fix. I just created my own Starlight Playlist and arranged them myself; however, as each track is its own song versus one complete seamless parade, it takes you out of what you're listening to as you have a silent break between each track, so it loses the beat. I dont understand why they released it this way. There are some great YouTube videos with near-perfect audio, so that's the best way to go for the whole experience. I also noticed that the artist on the soundtrack is listed as Jedah. YouTube music had no information under them for the artist, so after some digging, I discovered they are the early 2010s rock group Yellowcard's side electronic project.

Maybe its the video but the dancers between each float all look like dancing fireflies. Nothing stands out. Just blinking white lights. Compare that to Paint the Night. The dancers are vibrant and very distinguishable.
