You know what's funny?
I’m so glad that didn’t last.

Agree.I’m so glad that didn’t last.

There were times Cast Members would be much stricter and argumentative about people wanting to order at a register. But also, the abandonment of mobile order only should be a bit telling that it didn’t create any sort of great efficiency.Agree.
Although even when this was in place, I was still able to order at a register, just told the CMs at the door, that I was paying cash.
And its a turn off that you have to go through red tape first by telling a cast member you want to come in and order and eat, you shouldn't have to do that, never use to had to. They have stationed too many wall blocks and permission points everywhere that it has zapped the fun out of it. Had to go through at least 3 or 4 cast asking permission the other night just to buy a bottle water off to the side after the parade when leaving main street, they wanted no one veering out of their exit line. There were times Cast Members would be much stricter and argumentative about people wanting to order at a register. Where are you eating that this is happening? And its a turn off that you have to go through red tape first by telling a cast member you want to come in and order and eat, you shouldn't have to do that, never use to had to. has happened at the abc commissary and at columbia harbour house, maybe its certain days times?Where are you eating that this is happening?
What does keeping the option tell you? There was no mandate until the pandemic. There were times Cast Members would be much stricter and argumentative about people wanting to order at a register. Gee, looking at those you would almost think Frontierland is supposed to be old and not have modern stuff like racecars in it.
What sort of gotcha do you think you’ve found? I haven’t said anything about getting rid of mobile ordering as an option. What does keeping the option tell you? There was no mandate until the pandemic.
Same sort of gotcha you think you found when you said they opened up the registers after the pandemic. What sort of gotcha do you think you’ve found? I haven’t said anything about getting rid of mobile ordering as an option.
If mobile order offered the claimed capacity gains then they would and should have kept mobile order only.Same sort of gotcha you think you found when you said they opened up the registers after the pandemic.
Again, you are jumping at the idea that people hate mobile ordering for saying it doesn't add capacity. They are not the same. I can sit here and say it works well for some people and not for others, and it's fine as an option.I can’t believe people favor a system where you wait in line for 30 minutes and then can’t find a table because the 10 families behind you are taking up the tables waiting for food.
I guess Disney should have a table for 10 open for us at every QS restaurant in MK since “capacity.”
As can be seen from the posts above there are situations that call for - or people who prefer - ordering at a register. Disney is accommodating them.If mobile order offered the claimed capacity gains then they would and should have kept mobile order only.
I don’t know. If you visit other threads posters are saying Disney is lying about attendance and the place is a ghost town. Why would they add dining capacity at this point?Again, you are jumping at the idea that people hate mobile ordering for saying it doesn't add capacity. They are not the same. BUT, funny enough, you are getting to the idea most are saying. There should not be 30 minute waits for QS, there should be enough places around the park with enough people working that this is never the case. There are not enough QS (or food places in general) for a park the size of MK.
Because guest spending and attendance are not mutually exclusive.I don’t know. If you visit other threads posters are saying Disney is lying about attendance and the place is a ghost town. Why would they add dining capacity at this point?
But if there are so few guests shouldn’t they fit comfortably within the current capacity?Because guest spending and attendance are not mutually exclusive.
You want people there spending more. So you make it so you make more avalible to ones there rather than harder to get.
But if there are so few guests shouldn’t they fit comfortably within the current capacity?
