This is the right decision. America's polarized political and media environment doesn't mean that this show as an institution needs to be removed or significantly changed. The show's message is designed to be timeless and resonate beyond the politics of the day.

I recall some speculation that they didn't think he would win and had to adjust an already in progress figure, but no idea if true or not or if just not the best work

The non-speaking versions always look better. I wouldn’t anticipate him looking as good/accurate as he does on the right, but he may be improved somewhat.

I doubt the new one has the needed mechanics to operate like the first one but could be wrong. Pure speculation on my part.

The other site appears to be first on the scene and has a video.

Considering the timing (~10:10am), this must be a video of the first, if not second show, indicating to me that they had 'reporters' swarming the attraction on the daily on the off chance it will reopen that day. No guest can get to MK from off property that fast.
