How does MV3D fit in Tomorrowland any better than MILF did?
Disney’s 5th gate needs to be “Oldieland”.
They can recreate everything from Toad to Horizons to MV3D to Dinosaur, and everything in between…!!!!!

Hey, remember how people said no one really cared about Avatar any more as proved by no one remembering the names of the characters and it was just a one-time phenomenon 15 years ago fueled by a handful of people mesmerized by the CGI and kept going back for repeated viewings while every single person in the world moved on and would have no care to go to an Avatar-themed land?
It's a NEWWWWWWWWWWW technology (in the muppets world)How does MV3D fit in Tomorrowland any better than MILF did?
It also doesn't help that Galaxy's Edge supposedly takes place between the two least popular Star Wars films.I think the lack of a passionate fandom for the Avatar IP actually benefits Pandora, it almost feels like old “concept based” Disney rather than new “IP based” Disney, I think it’s a large part of the reason that Pandora is universally praised while Galaxies Edge, which is equal in detail and execution, is seen by many as a miss. GE is amazing but falls short of the bar set by passionate Star Wars fans, Pandora never had that unattainable bar to begin with.
Toy Story and Frozen are INSANELY safe, Monsters is VERY safe. Toy Story and Frozen are literal lay ups and like I already said HAVE ATTRACTIONS. In fact every single Pixar movie that has gotten a sequel recently in my knowledge has an attraction somewhere or is getting one so I fail to see your point. Disney finds Pixar very profitable. Simple as that.I return again to the fact the, despite the fact that the box office fiasco of 2023 sent Disney scrambling back to churning out safe sequels to IPs like Toy Story and Frozen, no Monsters 3 is currently planned.
I’d also point out that despite the last Indiana Jones film being a historic bomb, that IP is receiving a new ride.
Monsters is popular. It is not a cultural juggernaut.
Anecdotally, I see more Up merchandise on people and in shelves in the parks then I do Monsters, though I find it likely Monsters is more marketable.
Tbh imo they could greatly help this even without breaking the timeline by having the OG characters meetable in the land through a sort of cave of evil type meet and greet location. It also doesn't help that Galaxy's Edge supposedly takes place between the two least popular Star Wars films.
They’re building Tropical Americas with more than one IP.What will forever bug me-
They could’ve just added the coaster and new restaurant (Melrose Replacement) then renamed the entire area Grand Park. Left Muppets alone.
But no; for some reason we can’t have multiple IP’s in a single land anymore.
If they were smart they would have expanded Pixar Place and added the door coaster there. Instead they got rid of Pixar Place built the god-awful ugly Toy Story Land and decided that instead of having Pixar IP all in the same area they would build whole lands constrained to one movie or series of movies. What will forever bug me-

Neither of which have anything to do with animals. They’re building Tropical Americas with more than one IP.
Neither did Pandora.Neither of which have anything to do with animals.
I agree.Neither did Pandora.
And for that reason, it was a stupid idea.I agree.
you are acting as though Disney doesn't care about theming anymore. Where would you get a crazy idea like that? We all know Pandora is in California just like Mexico is for the Coco ride. And for that reason, it was a stupid idea.
If I may briefly address the Avatar question (at the risk of getting too far off topic), Avatar at DCA will not be successful BECAUSE it is themed to the Avatar IP. They could make a thrilling dinosaurs-themed boat ride with majestic mountains and forests and enchanting vistas, and it would still be successful because it's NEW. NEW ADDITIONS are almost always more successful than what they replace, at least initally, and that's all that really matters until they add something else new in another corner of the park. (Beastly Kingdom would have been just as successful as Avatar, and been truer to the original theme of Animal Kingdom.)
Even if they were to build a replica of Monstropolis for that corner of DCA, it would be just as successful as Avatar.
I definitely prefer Pandora, though Galaxy’s Edge beats it on scale.I think the lack of a passionate fandom for the Avatar IP actually benefits Pandora, it almost feels like old “concept based” Disney rather than new “IP based” Disney, I think it’s a large part of the reason that Pandora is universally praised while Galaxies Edge, which is equal in detail and execution, is seen by many as a miss. WHAT?!?!Hell even Gravity Falls got an attraction pitch.
Report the violation. If only they enforced those rules…
Yup, for Disneyland. Though it was a while ago. Wouldn't mind seeing those plans dusted off and made reality somewhere in Magic Kingdom's Nouveau Frontierland. Somewhere in the Northwoods/Piston Peak area would be ideal. If only.WHAT?!?!![]()
