We know Disney PR has been told to release that there are plans for it.
Thanks for an example of 'conspiracy theory.'

In order for this conspiracy theory to work just about, all those in PR, all those in WDI, all those in entertainment, and all those in managerial positions for the park have to know that Disney PR said there would be a show, but they all know there won't be a show. And not one of them will leak that lie.

They didn’t do their due diligence because they were in a panic about capacity. I they stupidly assumed that there wouldn’t be a mess of utilities and infrastructure under the parking lot.
Yep. This project was moving along with permits filed, contractors hired, equipment on site, and dirt actively being moved before it was cancelled.

Why is that a conspiracy theory?

They are not beholden to promises(which are not even promises) they present.

This goes back to Walt with Musuem of the Weird and things changing or not happening at all.

It is almost like, here me about, theme parks are an extension of show business.

I did not say there definitely won't be a show, but as of now, there are zero plans or goals for the show other then "there should be a show in there"

I think this trip I just had in June was plenty for me until Villains land arrives. I don’t want to be going to WDW if 1000 construction walls will be around killing sightlines and not to mention how awful the pathways will be.

Same. I'm good till 2031. Will let EU and local parks take up the slack.

Just a reminder, everybody - MuppetVision closed, but Launch Bay, the Frozen Sing-Along, and the Mickey Shorts Theater continue to exist. Where's the justice in THAT?
Dance Party with Mike and Sully?
I really hope that's not what the theater show turns out to be. We already have the Disney Jr. Dance Party, but even ignoring that, it would be a horrible replacement for MuppetVision.

Proving my point. Execs also change your mind midway through and you want to cry because you are not only losing something you had some pride in, but worked months of missing your family time for...and you hope it keeps you fully employed.
You are the same person in the epic thread defending all things universal and the decisions they have made. You have a clear agenda.

What? Frozen is one of the best shows and always different with its fantastic improv. Mickey shorts is a small theater that replaced a show that was 70% pitch black. Launch bay is definitely a joke but apparently is planned for replacement

We just like to shout agenda around here don't we? I saw someone else recently being accused of having one.

What agenda can I have by saying that everyone I know in WDI and Entertainment have not been assigned to work on anything going in here. And of those I know, they would have.

That does not mean any agenda.

Don't forget Beauty and The Beast, which is now the oldest operating nearly as is(it moved once and Star Tours was rethemed and redone)venue in the park and somehow still going.

I don't really get why people are so aghast at the idea that they might not be developing the show yet. It makes sense to me that they aren't working on it yet. It's an afterthought. No one is LOOKING FORWARD to this show. The emphasis is on the coaster. The theatre show will always have the specter of what it replaced.

Makes sense that they wouldn't have started development.

Oh come on. Call me a liar and give me an agenda!

Often times, people are angry at the reality of the situation and like to shoot the messenger. Who is not even delivering news we were probably not thinking was possible.

They are still angry about the things I was right about in the EPIC thread, which were not really revolutionary things, but accurate none the less and they say I have an agenda when it worked out for Uni.

I am sad about Muppets but Frozen sing along is really popular and very well done (for what it is) - always packed whenever (moreso than Muppets prior to when they announced it was closing).

Mickey shorts should get updated but is a small theater. I agree with another poster BatB should be updated.

Launch Bay is bad, but I think that will be part of a much larger update coming during the 2nd half of the 10 year plan. If we are here 5 years from now and still now news of that area being touched, then that is a huge black eye
