I’m taking a page from @Tuvalu 's playbook and combining our 2025 adventures together. Perhaps I’ll even keep it (mostly) updated?? Lol

Thank you all in advance for joining along on our adventures! I have so much fun sharing with all of you! ♥️

Let the festival fun begin…

You guys are really good at spending a whole day in the park and keeping busy! I love going along on your reports with you!!

Was that a cheeseburger with pulled pork on it?! YUM!! I need to remember to look for that next time we're in DHS!!

As long as we go "slow" in the morning, we're good. If we start "bright and early", we would be all cranky by noon! lol

Yes - it was a pulled pork burger. I didn't get a bite - but it did smell delicious!

I forgot to put in our Galaxy's Edge photos. I knew May 4th would be crazy, so I made sure to get photos today.

Day 5 - May 2, 2025

I woke up at 7 AM to Ross answering the phone - another problem with his delivery, but thankfully, it was just a small era and no big deal. Hope went into her Geometry class while Julia and I headed for the hot tub which unfortunately was not hot. :( I was very sad! So we stayed for about an hour in the lukewarm tub. The bubbles still felt good on my leg and hip.

Julia and I went back to the room and took our showers. Hope was finishing up her class and Ross was finishing up his breakfast.

The girls and I decided to go to the character warehouse. Ross thought it was a good idea to leave him at the hotel. No complaints from me… he is not a happy shopper.

The hotel staff said it was walk-able, but I didn’t want to take a chance and I’m glad we took a Lyft, with my leg, it would have been too long of a walk. We got there around 10:30. There was a short line to get in, but it only took about 10 minutes.

We had a fun time shopping. Of course, we managed to but a few things! lol

One thing we wanted to get was a pair of Mike Wazoski Crocs. Let's face it, I can NOT escape the Crocs!! Unfortunately, the CM told us they were sent to the Character Warehouse a few weeks earlier and sold out!! Hope was so sad. However, the CM also shared that there was a Crocs store in the outlets and she knew they had them there. Obviously, that was our next stop! The result??

A VERY HAPPY Hope!! She also talked me into buying 2 pairs of Monsters Inc socks and the little gizmos that go into the Crocs.

Julia was next... She just wanted a treat.

Not my cup of tea, but she likes it.

I settled for ....

IMG_2517.JPG

Then we called for a Lyft back to our hotel. Sadly, we couldn't find the pick up location. We went to where we thought it was, but we could not find the driver. Let me just say, this driver went above and beyond. He stayed on the phone with me and drove all around until he found us and did not charge us extra! I was very grateful and gave him a nice tip.

Mug 7.99 or could have been 9.99

IMG_4044.JPG

l/s F&W t-shirt - $4.99!

I also got the FARTS Spirit Jersey for 24.99, some candy bags for 1.99 each. Julia and Hope each picked up a couple of things, but I forgot what they were! lol

I think Character Warehouse is a fun place and worthwhile to visit to get some deals.

As soon as the girls and I returned from our shopping expedition, we freshened up, collected Ross and then called a Lyft to head to my least favorite park...

I got a return time for FoP and we walked over to FOTLK - it is still my favorite show in WDW. (Not counting fireworks)

IMG_2528.JPG

We sat towards the front and they picked Hope to take part in the parade at the end. I still tear up watching her march and dance around with the CM's.

Dinosaur was up next.

Julia is so sad to see it go... It does not really bother me that the ride itself is going, but I wish they would have re imagined Dinoland rather than wiping it out. Not that I don't like Encanto and Indy... but it's "Animal Kingdom".. shouldn't we get lands referencing animals instead of places? Just my 2 cents... rant over. lol

The walls were up...

Back to Africa for our 2 week safari...

IMG_2592.JPG
IMG_2593.JPG

I usually enjoy the safari, but I think this was the best one we ever had. Apparently, it was feeding time and we had never experienced that. In addition to seeing that aspect of it, the animals were rushing over to eat. I had never seen such activity or animals coming so close to our vehicle. It was really fun!!

We were hungry, so we decided on Pinocchio Village Haus.. Julia got a flatbread, Hope got tenders and Ross got a salad. I just shared with everyone.

It was disappointing. This place used to be so much better! Does anyone else agree? Or am I just remembering wrong?

We began walking over towards Tommorrowland, but we paused around Rapunzel's royal flush to watch some of HEA. My pictures came out horrible.

IMG_2737 3.JPG

We had a return time for Tron, but since we still had more time to wait, we took a spin on the Peoplemover. I was extremely happy because usually my family does not want to ride this, but here we were riding a second time in one trip!!

I think Ross had ulterior motives...right @riverside ?

We ended our night by walking over to the Contemporary to get a Lyft back to our hotel. On the way, I mobile ordered some food from Contempo Cafe.

It was all yummy, much better than Pinocchio. When we were done, I ordered a Lyft. I was surprised how expensive it was tonight. The regular car was almost $35.00! It was almost as much as a trip to MCO! It was what is was... We got back our hotel and fell into dreamland.
