Disney Premier Access Ultimate

Hi,

My family are visiting this summer and intend on doing the Disney Premier Access Ultimate for a few reasons.

I see on the app that you can add it from seven days before. It also says you can contact your travel agent to potentially get it added sooner.

Anyone know if the availability of the passes ever run out (i.e. they get sold out) and therefore if I need to contact my agent sooner? Or whether it’ll more than definitely be available to book seven days before?

Thanks,

Rob

I don’t have answers for you, sorry.

But just pointing out that the Ultimate Pass applies to around 16 rides, some of which really, really don’t need a “FP”.

The single pass is available with almost immediate return times, always within 10 minutes. And you can even buy 5 or 6 for one ride if you want.

Just food for thought. Unless your visit coincides with Bastille Day, I honestly think the single pass will work just as well.

Thank you very much. We are going end of July, so assume that’ll all be fine regarding single passes and waiting, etc?

I went many, many years ago and everything is so different and a bit daunting if I’m honest.

DLP really isn’t daunting. It’s delightfully simple in many ways. Especially compared to WDW.

Are you staying onsite? If so, the early entry is worthwhile. Because the park opens relatively late, it’s quite easy to get up, grab breakfast and get into either park.
The main thing to remember is to check which rides open for the early opening! My “plan” was thwarted when I realised too late that 2 out of the 3 rides I thought we’d knock out first didn’t open. 🤷‍♀️

Also when buying the ride passes, it will almost certainly require 2 factor authentication.

Are you sure? I don’t recall needing that.
I tried to pay with my pre-paid currency card, and had to confirm with a code they texted to me. Unfortunately the format of my mobile # was incorrect - so I couldn’t get the text.

I got it corrected once I got home - wouldn’t let me update it online.

Could be a requirement of your card then, but not the DLP app.

No. I’ve used it now for many years, never needed it. And had used it “in person” at the parks and hotel. And Caxton confirmed it wasn’t their requirement. Maybe the app only requires it for foreign cards?

Never had to do two factor in April. Used PayPal.
