Solo Trip early June

Hi all! Solo Traveler planning to go to Disney World & Universal in Orlando first two weeks of June very soon from Australia.

I'm aware it's when the US school holiday season is beginning at this time, however this is the window that I can travel.

So my serious question is... How bad will it be in terms of queues, wait times, getting around the parks in the first 1-2 weeks of June in terms of a Solo traveler?

All advice appreciated

I go solo quite often and have been during that timeframe the last few years (ill be there in 10 days lol). Its really not bad for lines at all, especially for solos. There are a lot of rides that have single rider (both star wars rides, remy ,rnrc etc). Also its much easier to navigate crowds solo (fill in all available space!) . Enjoy!

Weather will be warmer so remember to pack for summer, not winter, and bring a poncho for the rain. But not as warm/hot as July/August.

Tom Bricker has a good post on his blog regarding park planning. Here's his June 2025 post. Even he isn't sure. For example, with Epic open, will there be more or fewer crowds? Don't know. It could be either. But it IS just after the Memorial Day start of summer. Good luck!

Some are thinking that Epics opening will affect Dis numbers and make it a ghost town. Dont count on it. Guests will be doing their usual Disney trips with a day or two off site to experience Epic, while others are going to avoid it at this time due to anticipating larger opening crowds at the new Uni.
Going solo will as previously posted will give you some advantages and make it easier but as far as crowds, historically what Disney has experienced in the past will not change greatly. Also don't buy into the thought that a recession will keep massive numbers of guests away.
Plan your days well and take advantage of single rider lines, rope drops and entry times to get ahead of the more popular attractions.

Also, I don't think Epic is as popular as people think. This is not to put it down. It's a great park. But frankly, it hasn't been widely advertised outside the theme park community insiders. Interest will grow, of course, but I agree the primary focus for most is going to Disney and maybe building in Sea World or Uni which now includes Epic.

It's getting great reviews from those who have already been, was featured on the Today show and a lot more is going to blitz the media as summer rolls in. We are waiting to go possibly next year after the initial interest and crowds start to die down. Disney will still rule the area with Uni being a tag along visit for most.

Greetings from across the pond! Will be a very nice trip with you since it will be winter in Australia. Always wanted to visit there to especially see the Irwin family and their zoo, etc And Canberra, etc. They really seem oh so very nice! Will be pretty warm in June. This season has been especially muggy with a lot of rain for some reason. Very different from past years. June can be a little busier than normal, but manageable. Epic has been pretty packed, but that is to be expected for the grand opening. Especially, the new Harry Potter ride. Happy Disney/Universal travels to you!
