It seems Ike with the exception of Moana it’s all B and C tier IP. They’re seriously leaning into “Wish” and P&TF still?

In recent months, Disney has shifted their approach with some of their Disney Parks Blog articles, where they are posted before new details are revealed, and then the article is updated. This article was likely posted today before new details are revealed in the coming days.

Really, only Wish is a head scratcher. It works visually here, but surely they are aware of how badly it bombed…
I would have done Inside Out instead. Underrepresented in WDW and could be a stunner with a glow.

There's an event for the kickoff of Cool Kid Summer before the D23 stream, and I am hoping that new Starlight details will be part of the event, though not confirmed as of now. Fingers crossed we get something of substance.

Putting Wish in there is like dedicating a float to the various characters from Medfield College (which between it and related locations had 13 films in the same universe). Anyone who isn't a hardcore Disney fan will look at that float in a decade and question who in the name of God these characters are...
They didn’t mention Paint the Night.
Got it, the Disney princess parade. I guess the only demographic that matters is 5-10 year old girls.
What? Besides Wish, all the IP selected have been A listers.

I love that they are showing Wish some love. A beautiful film, with some great visuals and tunes. The hate for it was silly.
