Our picture from Frozen... The little girl in the front row kept standing up during the ride which caused a flurry of announcements to please keep seated as well as stopping our boat completely at one point right after Elsa swooshed us away backwards.

Oh - I forgot...As we approached Imagination.. there was a box outside... It was not there later in the day. Your guess is as good as mine...

We had some shopping to do at DS, so we made our way back through World Showcase on our way to catch a bus from Beach Club. Of course, we managed to stop for a few snacks along the way.

The Broadway Concert Series was on, so we stopped and watched a few minutes.

Hope ended her day the way she began ... with a crepe.

Actually, I made a mistake.. We had some purchases from EPCOT that we did not want to carry with us. Julia had purchased a couple of bottles of Sake from Japan for her and Nick. I had also purchased some also for my brother who was helping us out a great deal with my mom while we were away. So we took the Skyliner back to POP and got a bus from there.

I don't have many more pics from this night. Aside from our cookie bonanza, we did some damage shopping. Julia purchased her alter ego plushy.

IMG_9127.JPG

Hope picked up a few Lego Items and a box of Lorcana cards.

IMG_9122.JPG

She also managed to talk me into buying her a Monsters Inc. jacket which is adorable and she wears it all the time. Funny because I just registered her for duel enrollment at our community college's College in the High School program . I guess I can tell people she now attends Monster University! lol.

No I did not purchase Eeyore.. I wanted to... but I have one at home. lol. We managed to close down DS before heading back to POP. The girls crashed while I started to pack us up. We would be heading home tomorrow.

What is the first one? The last one is one of my top 3 at this festival!

I really have to start taking better notes when it comes to the food! Lol I believe it was the general Tso’s chicken dumplings from China.

The cheesy bread bowl was good, but I couldn’t take more than a couple of bites. I think we actually ended up throwing out more than half of it. It seemed like one of those things when the first few bites tasted amazing but after that you couldn’t eat much more.

I was really disappointed with the sausage stew bowl I got. It got such high reviews from a lot of bloggers I watch, but I found it to be super salty and was barely lukewarm when I got it.

Day 5 - February 5 - Going Home...

My alarm woke me at 5:30 AM. I wasn’t quite ready to get up. I had a little bit of a queasy feeling. I figured it was because of the fact that I needed to go home and the fact I was going to go from 84° to 18°. But I realized it was for a different reason. Upon examination of my emails, I had one from Jet Blue telling me that my flight may be delayed. Apparently a storm system was going through the northeast starting Wednesday night. I had been checking the weather home and everything was clear. I saw that on Thursday, NY was expecting snow, but I guess it was the fact that the storm was going up the coast and starting further south that may interrupt my flight.

I’m not a good flyer, planes make me a little nervous. I’ve gotten better over the years, but the thought of the possibility of a delayed flight was not what was making me nervous and nauseous. That queasy feeling in my stomach was coming from the fact that I would have to explain to Ross that my flight may be interrupted. I knew right away he would think I would be joking at first... Then there was the thought of my mom at my brother‘s house. If my flight was delayed and I couldn’t get back for another day, I knew he would not want to keep my mom. which would cause a whole other level of calamity and nauseousness to my life.

I pushed all the worry out my head, I had a very important mission this morning. I wanted to get a VQ for Guardians! I knew I had purchased a LL, but I was so annoyed I couldn't get a VQ, I just had to try again to redeem myself. Besides, I wanted to ride it twice!! lol

I showered and got dressed. The girls were still sleeping when I walked out of the room and over towards to Hourglass Lake.

I kept walking till I had four bars on my phone. It was calm and relaxing. And for a moment, looking out over the lake onto the skyliner, I saw stillness and a calmness of Disney World that I don’t think I’ve ever experienced. Maybe it was just because I wanted to hold onto this tiny piece of serenity for a few moments longer... before the world woke up and the craziness would begin all again and surround me. Whatever it was, I enjoyed it for as long as I could.

At 6:57 I found my spot and got ready to hit refresh. Right now, I made that my sole mission and pushed the worrying out of my mind. Sure enough, at 7 AM I was managed to get boarding group 32.

As an aside, I have a friend who goes to Disney World often. She always posts on her Facebook page the VQ’s that she gets. This chick can get boarding group 2, 4 and 7! I don’t know how that’s done. Not that I care, I’m just glad I got a boarding group. I just don’t know how she always manages to get in the single digits!

I started my walk back towards the main building.

I saw the line that I hear about from the Skyliner. When I walked out, there was no one there. Suddenly at 7 AM, the lines stretched back past building 4.

IMG_9141.JPG

I made my way over to the food court to get some coffee. As I did, it’s like the entire world awoke. Droves of people started to come from every which way, heading in all different directions single.

I spoke to Ross and mentioned the e-mail from Jet Blue. He made me feel better and I started to calm down a bit. He said there was no storm coming, only a little bit of snow and not until Thursday morning.

I returned to the room where Hope and Julia were getting up. We all got ready and packed up our stuff and took it to Bell Services.

It was about 10:30 by the time we got to the Skyliner. I was astonished to see the line was still CRAZY LONG and it seemed as though it was not moving. Usually, the line moves very quickly and even if the line seems endless, it still goes quickly. However, that was not the case this morning. That's when Hope announced the gondolas were moving VERY slowly and at times paused.

IMG_9153.JPG

We stood there about 5 minutes that felt more like an hour. That's when I made an executive decision... I ordered a Lyft. It actually worked out for the best because our LL was for 11AM and GoG was in the front of the park.

Soon we were in EPCOT and ready to save the Galaxy!

IMG_9173.JPG

Hope wasn't though with space, so we walked over to Mission Space and took a trip acroos the earth. No Mars for me... I think it's the only ride that ever made me sick. (That was an entertaining TR! LOL).

We took in as much as the festival as we could. We checked out some more art.

And watched a bit of this show...

He was really good. We were hoping to see the artist that drew along with music... but unfortunatley, we never got to see him. We couldn't figure out the times he would perform.

None of us had eaten anything, so our bellies were ready for festival booths!

Of course, we had to paint. first!

Finally time for food. And why not start with dessert? This was one of the first artists that Julia ever studied. Don't ask me his name. lol

A staple for me...

I learned my mug was not only good for coffee, it is a great vessel for a margarita.
