Hello everyone,
I recently (3/25) took our first lil adventure to Disney in California, and am trying to figure out the better combination of itinerary , and financial sense of our first trip to WDW. With the kiddos pricing half off , plus the bonus 3 day adult Tix pricing, figured might as well, right?
I'm just not sure if staying at one of the Disney hotels is worth the upcharge, vs staying off resort. Does anyone have anything to contribute? I'm hoping people who's went and stayed both ways can offer some insight.
I've got a 5 year old, so tips on trying to not have him having a melt down, just after attempting to walk part of the way through one park is also very welcomed advice. Possible short cuts, or wagon/stroller type rentals? It's challenging when it's just a momma trying to give her lil an amazing adventure, and "man my sticks are tired!"( Forky voice inserted there
). As I can't typically tote him miles, plus all the treasures, snacks and backpack .
Oh, I'm also planning on going to Legoland, I've not decided yet if WDW is first or LEGO, or if I should try alternating days. If anyone's tried this, please lemme know how it worked out.
I'm also wondering if Lego hotel is worth the upcharge, considering the non free parking hotel, add resort fees, and I'm not positive if the breakfast is included anymore or not?
Anyways, gimmie some ideas fellow travelers, I truly value your time and knowledge.
