I always heard food on a sub was some of the best around.

True. Also its been our experience that considering our labor force is generally coming from a completely different geographic/cultural place, it was better to not only have quality food, but of the type they liked/were used too. Also helps as most projects of this size you are running 2/3 shifts, and you need food facilities that are open 24/7 and serving off time meals, like dinner at 1 AM, ect.

Absolutely it is beneficial either way for TWDC. I meant the wider project / beneficial also for Miral and the wider region.

Sea World and Ferrari will also be grinning no doubt.

That's not necessarily true -- Saudi Arabia, e.g., has been willing to throw money at things via their Sovereign Wealth Fund with little or no ROI basically in the hopes that it will eventually lead somewhere (as opposed to crunching numbers). Obviously the UAE, and Abu Dhabi specifically, aren't the same thing as Saudi Arabia, though, and I also don't know if Miral actually operates more like an independent business as opposed to Saudi Arabia's Sovereign Wealth Fund.

Regardless, there's very little downside for Disney beyond the potential for brand damage if something goes horribly wrong.

Disney used to strive for excellence IMO they have found guests will accept all most anything now --less quality, higher prices, less amenities, broken attractions.

I'm skeptical. Maybe each "land" will be largely indoors and/or have pavilions with multiple stuff (attractions, merch, food, whatever) together but I would think they want to have the typical outside buildings, landscape, rockwork, etc to show off and market and "wow" guests as they see it.

Perhaps it might be something like an Epic park where there is an open central hub with castle and various "portals" leading to covered lands ?

Same. Maybe I’m reading too much into what is unplanned concept… but I’m envisioning future world. Large separate pavilions. Some might be cool architecture and some might be rock work facades that open into a night time pandora setting. Some of the park should be outside, it’s not like you cannot have anything external in Abu Dhabi. They just need good landscaping and no queues that are not climate controlled. Which frankly should be Florida in July.
