We grabbed the 8-oz Filet for $78. The filet was accompanied by a roasted tomato, and the steak itself was cooked to a perfect medium rare with a warm pink center.Apr 15, 2025

21 dollars for truffle mac and cheese....
MORE BS.

This a Disney fan forum. We're discussing restaurants in WDW, specifically Bourbon at the Dolphin.

Menu prices you post are from the 4 Seasons in Las Vegas. How many guests are going to fly to Vegas for dinner then fly back for rope drop?

Their FL price, Delray Beach, for the truffle mac n cheese is $16, Vegas is 25% higher.

Pricing is in the same ballpark as other expensive Steak houses.

Dolphin is replacing an expensive steakhouse with a different expensive steakhouse.

Outback and Texas Roadhouse give you a completely different experience, price and quality. you're living in fantasy land if you thought Outback would replace Shulas

YOU CONTINUE TO LIE. I've corrected what I thought was an honest mistake several times.

Dolphin menu prices haven't been released
You continue to post 4 Season Vegas location prices which are significantly higher then Fl prices.

Bourbon in Delray charges $57 for filet. Get your calculator. Chops is a dollar more, not $20 less.

Chops is about a 3.5 hour drive from the Dolphin. Too long a drive for many us

Bourbons FL prices are similar to other expensive area steak houses.

I get it. You, and I, don't frequently spend that much. We're not likely to be regular customers.

God you are full of crap. The quote that you have here is from a review of a meal at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Dana Point, CA. In fact the "review" that you are quoting from specifically says:

The Bourbon Steak we stopped by is located inside the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Dana Point, CA. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a hostess, and as they walked us to our table, we passed through huge glass cases of wine and spirits!

As lewis posted the prices in Florida are $57 in Delray, and $66 in Miami.

I mean lying about pricing like this for no reason is pretty damn stupid. Doing so in a way that is so easily fact checked is even dumber.

Who cares where you got it from. The “review” is from someone who went to the Astoria in CA. It starts off with the line I quoted. It says they went to the Waldorf in Ca. It has nothing to do with Florida, or Florida pricing.

Is this the same as Arthurs Tavern?
I believe that is the place he is referring to.

Arthur's is a different sort of restaurant. It's a good place, but it is not a high end steak house, meaning you don't get all the pomp and circumstance and vibe of a steak house. Is that worth the price difference? That is up to the individual.

Arthur's is under 15 miles from my house.

Here is one thing that I do know. Any place that serves truffle mac and cheese (or for that matter just about truffle anything) can cram it in their hat.

Fake truffle (which is what 99% of anything that has truffle "flavor" in it, tastes horrendous to me. It must be a cilantro gene type thing. I like mushrooms, including real truffles. But that fake truffle oil, is just horrendous to me.

Is the steak at Arthurs, meat quality not ambiance, closer to the Outback or closer to high end steakhouses.

I haven't been to Arthurs in ages, but from what I recall.

I would say squarely between the two. I find Outback pretty close to inedible, but more because of their excessive love for salt than the quality of the beef.

Although, I have been to some steakhouses that were supposedly high end (dry aging their own prime beef) and was disappointed.

There are places that are chains, that try to work to a price point - Outback is one of them.
There are places that try to provide value for the money, and while they attempt to keep costs down, have a certain level of quality they will not forgo - like Arthurs.
There are places where they get the best that they can, because they know their customers expecting that, and the accordant prices.
