OMG, I've only just realised I saw the Yeti move!

Although it was only the first and second times I rode Expedition Everest, the Yeti is just a fleeting glimpse at the best of times so it's possible it never registered on me anyway.

I was looking back at videos of my trip in November 2006, a friend was videoing from the seat behind me. Both times it clearly shows the Yeti's arm swiping out and down. Doesn't look like it's lunging forward though like in the making-of video.

DS and I were also fortunate to see the working Yeti. It's one of those "I was there when" moments that remain in our memories. It wasn't long after our trip that it became unworkable.

In a couple of years we will be coming up to the 20 year anniversary of the Yeit being broken!

Time flies.

Next year, it will be the 25 year anniversary the Disneyland people mover was destroyed by Rocket rods and left for dead.

Wow, with that dramatic arm swipe, the Yeti looks legitimately frightening. WDI would never build something that edgy today.
