So I have no problem with them selling a fireworks package. But gosh, $180? That seems quite steep.

Well considering its location and the distance and obstructions between it and WS lagoon is it that desirable for fireworks viewing? I'm not so sure that it is.It's almost like they built a lounge in a desirable location with a desirable theme and want to make money off of it. Crazy...
It's roughly the same distance from Spaceship Earth to World Showcase as it is from the train station to Cinderella Castle. If you can see the fireworks from the Polynesian, it should be fineWell considering its location and the distance and obstructions between it and WS lagoon is it that desirable for fireworks viewing? That's true. Then again, Disney isn't exactly known for picking decent locations for their fireworks packages. Tomorrowland Terrace is also a bad location to view the projectionsHalf the show is the lagoon pieces.
This is the view from Dreamers point which is about 10 feet below and 50 foot forward of the lounge windows.
Tell me again how this is a good view?

Must admit that I find it hard to care that much about something like this which isn't taking away a formally guest-accessible facility and that I'm not all that interesting in doing. If people want to pay the $180, that's on them. If not, the price will come down to what people are willing to pay. I assume it will be the same issue if the view isn't all that great: they will get complaints and will either stop marketing the packages or bring down the price. So I have no problem with them selling a fireworks package. But the every one of Bob's yachting buddies told him that it was a good value and price point. Is there anyone actually left in these rooms/parks to purchase these “magical experiency experiences”?![]()
Character dining is $60-$120 without champagne. There's an audience, just not a very discerning one.Is there anyone actually left in these rooms/parks to purchase these “magical experiency experiences”?![]()

Prosecco/brut all night long. There's not a snowball's chance in hell they are serving actual champagne here.

I'm not sure who thought "fireworks viewing package" was appropriate from this location. But a fool and their money are soon parted. And online reviews will pour in quickly about how poor the sightlines are and they'll likely be begging people to book this within a few months.
Just so long as the bought and paid for influencers get their advanced deviled eggs and bubbly that's all Disney needs.Prosecco/brut all night long. There's not a snowball's chance in hell they are serving actual champagne here.
