Will there be events at the 2025 F&W

Does anybody have any sort of insights into this topic?

Ever since 2020, WDW has not offered events in conjunction with F&W. Wine and Cheese tastings, Food & Wine Pairings, the oh-so-awesome Beer vs. Wine, the Tequila Lunch, and a host of other thoroughly enjoyable and educational events. Quite frankly, this is why my wife and I would attend. The food kiosks with their ever shrinking portion size and ever increasing price (and lines) have lost their appeal for us.

We are contemplating attending F&W this year, but the inclusion (or not) of events is likely a deal breaker for us.

Same. I'd prefer to dip out to the Boardwalk or get to Disney Springs by 7pm for a meal. Never used to be that way.

I also adored the special events and have been very disappointed in their failure to return. They seemed so popular! I was hopeful that when they finally opened Communicore Hall as a "festival center" and made a point of stating they'd outfitted the kitchen with cameras we might see something but alas that hasn't been the case. I'm not terribly optimistic for the future. @Phonedave I also loved the Wine vs. Beer event in Via Napoli. Last Oct/Nov, Maria and Enzo's (run by the same restaurant group as Via Napoli) offered a very similar sounding wine vs. beer event and they're actually repeating it tomorrow (4/26) so keep an eye out for that (you can sign up for email updates on their website). I haven't been able to attend either but heard good things. Also the Food & Wine Classic at the Swan and Dolphin might be worth checking out.

That event at at Maria and Enzo's is exactly the sort of F&W event I miss. Unfortunately we are not local and cannot just pop in for an event. We planned F&W, doing multiple events over a 4 day trip. A one off event that is being held by an outside restaurant (that is clearly holding it because it was so popular) is not something that we can attend.
