I would consider the 40% at a few of those restaurants. I haven't been to Toledo, Tusker or Tiffin's in awhile. (Weird alliteration there...)

They could mail out the magnets, but the goal is to incentivize people to come into the parks, where they'll inevitably spend more money.

That makes sense to me. But by the same token, it seems weird to me that they're only offering the shopping discount on the Disney store website.

Just booked Toledo and Cape May for the 1st week of June and virtually every time was available..I got 5:30 dinner at May and a firework time at Toledo. Ive never seen so much availability 2 hours after a special is announced.

I currently have breakfast at Boma morning of 5/14. Can't pass that up. A lunch meal would be way too early. But possibly Tusker or Boatwrights later? I fly out 5/15 for DLR so want to keep my evening open. I may just wait until last minute based on my schedule. But 40% off definitely sounds good, especially for an extended WDW/DLR trip.

Toledo has great food and we always start out with cocktails at Dahlia lounge for the view.

Same here ! Going in late May. Got Cape May and there was a lot of reservations open.

Those cheap, filthy Annual Passholders, always getting the white glove treatment from Disney. Now they have days where they don't have to make reservations, like standard guests???
