EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Perhaps certain insides needed a fresh up or modern elements but the outside never looked dated to me, some may say it's still Epcot 2000's but at least I felt as I was at a theme park, an iconic theme park! You were amazed you was at Epcot again just like World Showcase!
Honestly the Airport Concourse Cafe is true to the architectural intent of the building... The giant window walls, the open airiness of the structure... It looks clean and modern....but missing the whimsy and charm a good theme park should have.
Seemssss like through some added decor elements carefully chosend and designed for the space they could make it look better then the original... In general the spine redo ended up being ccompletely devoid of imaginative details and charm... too rooted in the present corporate world....

Yes, that really is the issue. There’s nothing that makes you smile. It doesn’t look bad - it just looks like a modern city park / modern retail and dining development.

Even the name “connections cafe” is something you’d expect - it’s not fun like “electric umbrella” or “mouse gears”

The beige and white of new Communicore is horrible. Bring back the bold colors of the original Communicore!!!!...

You know damn well it isn't about the exterior. 🙄 Yay, strawman.
The point being that if "beige and white" are bad choices, they are bad choices. Whether outside or in. Why is it OK for outdoors and not indoors?

I find the current cohesion of out and in to be pleasing. Rather then opening up a white wall to be greeted with an actualized acid trip.

That's it, it's not fun and nothing that makes you smile really. It's alot like the town center portion of Disney Spring's except that's not a theme park and you don't need to pay an over $100 entrance fee and nothing is unique about it worth paying. At least Marketplace captures fun and smile at Disney Spring's. What's worse is they want to call it World Celebration, the only celebration tie is World Showcase because it's celebrating the countries, celebrating on the lagoon.

Because colored buildings absorb heat from the sun, not to mention the colors fade. They also become hot to the touch. Florida is quite sunny. Now you’re asking guests to not touch the exterior of the building on hot sunny days, plus asking the building AC to work harder because the building itself is being heated more from the outside than it already is, since it’s no longer a pale, reflective color.

In the right place, colors on the outside would be fine (if the company was consistently committed to painting regularly. See: Castle, Cinderella). Epcot’s center spine isn’t that place.

It isn''t even about the literal amount of color.... It is the design itself... It could be all shades of white and still be visually exciting... But a big warehouse of a space that resembles most corporate office building interiors, in a world class theme park known for it's creativity, feels off.... Like a major failure, especially when the area was just renamed "World Celebration"...

Yeah World Celebration looks backwards had it made super sense during the Millennium 2000 celebrations era. They should of just called it World Discovery. Discovery goes with the entire park not just the East side.

Yeah from fun and whimziy to dull common and average. World Celebration looks backwards had it made super sense during the Millennium 2000 celebrations era. They should of just called it World Discovery. Discovery goes with the entire park not just the East side!
