Just know going in that if you go to one of the spots with hard core pin traders it is rarely pin friendly for the novice traders.hi i know where to trade pins in epcot but is there a main place in Mk..thanks for your help. please no ripping
i really appreciate the warning.. however my wife.. THE PIN TRADER.. has moved up the ranks and I would say that she is no longer a novice.. HOWEVER I really do appreciate the warning.. and its good for others to know as well.. Yes there are sharks there trading. I have seen them..and they do a very very good job of NOT TELLING you what you are trading is really REALLY GOOD and what you are getting is not close in value.. THEIR LINE IS .. IF YOU ARE HAPPY THEN I AM HAPPY.. all the time knowing they are getting $40 bucks worth of pin for $5 bucks worth of pin... My wife can't and WON"T do that.. she tells people straight out .. you need to ask for more.. for what you are willing to trade.. plus.. i can't remember a kid that she has traded with in the past year that she did not give them an extra pin... just to get them involved in pin trading..Just know going in that if you go to one of the spots with hard core pin traders it is rarely pin friendly for the novice traders.
Yeah, I remember hearing one trader telling a kid he would have to go buy what was effectively a 25 dollar pin and then he would trade him for what was a much cheaper pin that had caught the eye of the kid. Kind of sad that what was originally intended to be in good fun has become a cutthroat racket.i really appreciate the warning.. however my wife.. I didn't think to take a photo of him, I just told my daughter not to even bother looking at anything the guy had. If he was pulling that stuff on kids I wasn't going to support him or let my daughter support his BS in any way. But given the number of books he had filled with pins I have to assume he was a local, I don't think a visitor would fly in to Disney with what amounted to way more than you could have ever gotten in a carry on.what a total and complete jerk to say that to a kid...please let us all know who he is .. and if he is a local who comes all the time.. i would be happy to post a photo of that fool..
