They actually did a good job! Compare the colouring of the interior to the image I shared of Frontenac's lobby
Looks like a historic property now owned by Fairmont you'd find recently renovated.
Only the chairs look modern (or modern take on mid-century) compared to everything else.
Wood does not equal "rustic lodge" as erroneously reported before.
Makes the recent Emporium redo even more of an egregious outlier.

It's absolutely gorgeous. Just wish it was a space more people could enjoy. And also something that fit within World Showcase / Canada pavilion theming.

It does pretty decently fit into the theming of the hotel it’s based on. Well, not the model room floor obviously, but the main area works.

I wish it was open for all too, in regards to theming though it pretty much is an exact copy of the Chateau Frontenac hotel in Québec

It’s a place for guests interested in learning more about to DVC to meet with cast members and enjoy light refreshments including made to order maple taffy, it is designed to look like the lobby of a historic Canadian railroad hotel, see below
