Is it true that effective today if you didn't purchase your DVC directly through Disney you can no longer go to DVC member events or use DVC discounts for dining or purchases?

It's December!!!! 12/8-12/14 at Old Key West! MVMCP on 12/13!

We are leaving in 7 days and I'm so excited! But I'm also nervous because my boyfriend will be using a scooter. It's the first time I've ever traveled with someone in a scooter. Just wondering if there are things we need to know about getting around. Any tips at all would be helpful. Thanks!

I don't think you'd need two rooms if you had DVC though. I don't know how your numbers worked out or what you usually do. But I'm staying in a one bedroom villa that sleeps 5 adults. I thought that was one of huge advantages of DVC, that larger families could stay together in one room.

I'm staying at Old Key West for the first time in December. I'll be there for 6 nights using a friends DVC points. I've never done DVC before but I understand there is no daily mouse keeping. When do they come and what exactly do they do? Do you still tip them?

Did Amtrak from Poughkeepsie, NY to Orlando back in 2002. Will never do that again. It's not much cheaper and I'd rather save the time and fly than save a little bit of money on the train or even driving. I just don't have the patience for it.
