EPCOT Test Track to be reimagined

The thought was to drive up to Epcot for dinner with the fam and to check out the new iteration of Test Track. Though, by the time we got to Epcot, the ride had shut down due to technical difficulties (or due to a nearby thunderstorm) at around 5:30pm. Thankfully, I live "close" (3 hours...

Is Chef Mickey's worth is for a buffet dinner?

If you have young kids, I think it's worth it. I know when my kids were much younger (5 or 6), they were all about the character breakfasts, but now that they're 14 and 15, they're just happy with quick counter service now (or waiting in a crazy long line at Starbucks). LOL!

    Whispering Canyon Dinner

The family and I had a chance to experience dinner at Whispering Canyon at Disney's Wilderness Resort on March 1, 2025. This was our first time back since the parks re-opened after COVID where we had breakfast there back then. Breakfast was pretty good then, but we weren't impressed over the...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Autism can vary wildly. As a high school teacher, I have seen children with autism who can function normally and maybe need one or two accomodations in the classroom and then there's the other side of the spectrum where you have autism that requires every accomodation on the face of the earth...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Eventually Disney is going to see the backlash from this. That is...if they're not already seeing it now. The only thing I'm sitting here thinking is that maybe they're going to roll it out to autism and developmentally challenged first, monitor the situation, and then roll out in phases...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Can I offer up a potential "solution" in this thread that might help? Why can't Disney invest in a "create your own experience" type feature where in your My Disney Experience app, you can select what rides you want to go on and what times. So, it'd be like a reservation system similar to...

News New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

This is what my wife and I were talking about on the drive home from Epcot last night. There are so many people who need it and there are those who abuse the system because they think they're entitled to some special access. This all started with the spring break crowds back in the early...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

@Surferboy567 We left the afternoon of January 8th and I remember sleeping in the car on the way home. On January 9th, I went to work thinking nothing of it. That night, I started getting sick - stomach cramps, nausea, and just overall exhaustion. January 10th and 11th - let's just say...

    Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

I have to say that 2024 Marathon Weekend was probably one of the most challenging ever. Not from an endurance standpoint, but from a mental strength standpoint and with the rain! Saturday was a shortened half marathon course due to incoming inclement weather. I think this was a good call on...
