We have used it for every trip after our first one. Just remember to use your snack credits wisely. Fox example, pay for the 20oz coke out of pocket, since it is only about 2.50. Use your credit on something that is usually 4.00 or so out of pocket and you will see what I mean.
Yes, our kids are getting out May 18th. We will be at Disney starting May 19. Ours is the earliest that we know of, but other districts nearby in Ga. and Sc will be getting out a week or 2 later. You should be ok crowd wise, until memorial day weekend when it gets really busy.
We have always eaten here when visiting the MK. I have always felt that the rib/chicken combo was the best value for one CS credit you can get. Unfortunately, it looks like this combo has been removed from the menu. According to the Apr 2012 update of the menu on allears.net, it has been removed.
Stayed twice at both resorts and I would pick FQ. It is smaller, more laid back, quieter, and just ouyr choice overall. We do however like PORS also and you really have two great resorts to choose from.
POFQ is one of the best resorts at Disney. You will love the fact that it is small and compact making getting around very easy. As others have pointed out it has recently had all it's rooms renovated as well as some of the common areas. I have never been to a value resort so I cannot comment on...
I will have to disagree with you. We have been there at various time during the year and it is not always too crowded. The complex is very large and it can accomadate alot of people. I especially like the fact that they have wristbands and it keeps the pool hoppers from other resorts out. Sorry...
Yes, we have adrs for CP also and they took our cc info too. From what I have read only certain restaurants will now ask for credit cards to hold your reservation. If you don't show or cancel within 24 hours , they can charge you 10.00 per person.
