Not to mention there's nothing wrong with maturity and emotion in an Epcot show. One thing I loved ROE for was that it felt very grounded and mature in whatever way that may mean for a firework show. It felt real. Like you weren't watching a firework show rather you were watching a theatrical...
I'll definitely be living in Orlando by this time (I'll be 37!) so I'll get to witness a total eclipse finally. Hopefully i can make it to Disney for the event.
Gonna leave this to serve as a little time capsule for now
This new show is definitely something that'd be an obscure bit of Epcot streetmosphere from 20-25 years ago that'd be briefly discussed in a Defunctland video. In that sense, I absolutely love it lol
Pumped for that drone show. Like you said we just need a DAK nighttime show and we'll have solid nighttime entertainment for each park (even Disney Springs!)
If you're a fan of Disney fireworks this is just an awesome time to visit. The HEA/LSOU lineup rivals the Wishes and Illuminations lineup and i say that as a diehard fan of both shows. Not to mention the updated version of Fantasmic which is just incredible
Ever since this project was announced I've had a vision of "Gonna Take You There" being played by a band with firefly effects lighting up to the beat of the song and I get goosebumps every time. Looks like there will be a scene very similiar to this. This attraction is gonna be classic
I understand most of the criticisms people have about about the updates to Epcot but personally I love the park right now. Of course I wish PLAY! pavilion didn't fall through and i think things could have gone smoother but Epcot is very fun to be at right now. Certainly more fun that it was 5-7...
Obviously knew this was happening but didn't think it was happening this soon. I know most people preferred the original Test Track (or even WOM for that matter) but 2.0 is what i personally grew up on (I'm young i know) and is what my family and I have become attached to over the years.
Sad...
