Have they changed the time the FP window opens?

I wonder if it knows what time zone you're in. Like if it's set up to the clock on your computer, or wifi network. Much like some watches set themselves to a certain time based on a computer hundreds of miles away. I know that if you're in a different country, you can't watch TV shows on...

    Magic bands outside resorts

In addition to being your ticket, your magic bands will also continue to be your fastpasses. You don't need to be a resort guest for that function. And as a side note, once you get home, if you happen to have Disney Infinity on XBOX or PS3/PS4 the magic band allows you to unlock a special "its...

    Magic Kingdom rope drop

Interesting, maybe I've got it mixed up with Disneyland then. Cause I distinctly remember having rope drop right at the Adventureland entry and this wasn't a magic hour day or breakfast thing.

    A badge tip

They've got a pin for everything: Anniversary Birthday First Time Celebrating Just Married Happily Ever After (kind of generic) You can get any of them at your hotel (if you're on property) or other places throughout the park

    Magic Kingdom rope drop

They do the welcome at the front of the park now, at least they did when we were there in November. We were all corralled just inside the ticket booths but before going over to Main Street USA. They brought a train out and people danced and sang. Last time I was at Disney we could go all the...

Best tips for surviving Disneyworld for 7 days!

Serious? I could do just the parks at Disney World in 4 days comfortably, and 3 possibly even three days (there's not much at Hollywood Studios). We went for 6 in November, and I was ready to leave. I did 8 on my honeymoon, and we were bored by the end. I know there's a ton more to do there...

Want to have something sent to room

Sounds like you need to figure out what you want sent first! Afterwards, call up on the hotel and ask. They'd be the ones to do it.

Bay Lake Tower 2 bedroom villa - floor/location preference?

I'm not the one who wants to know. But hopefully Nikki comes back on checks it out.

Bay Lake Tower 2 bedroom villa - floor/location preference?

Sounds like 5th floor might be where you want to be then!! That's just me, though.

Bay Lake Tower 2 bedroom villa - floor/location preference?

I've not stayed there, but here are my thoughts knowing tall buildings: You don't want to be on the ground floor or even in the first 2-3 floors if you want a nice view But you also don't want the top floor, or the top 5 floors or so, because then you're waiting for the elevator for forever...

    Fast Pass + Question

Personally, I schedule my fastpasses for as early in the day as possible. That way, if I get them all done by 12, I can get more for later in the day. If one of your initial 3 fastpasses doesn't start until 4 PM, you've shot yourself in the foot for extra fastpasses that day.

Let me do a little price comparison and... Wait, that can't be right....

After getting involved in this discussion last night. I put together a quick article featuring hotels on a new blog my wife and I are starting. The article is called Should You Stay at a Disney Hotel?. Hopefully it answers some of the questions that came up. Check it out.

Sorcerers of MK & Treasuers of 7 Seas

I've never done any of them personally, but I've seen the Perry thing being done as I walk around Epcot. I know when it was Kim Possible you had a little plastic cell phone you carried around. I'm not sure if you still have the little cellphone or if it's integrated in the magic band. But...

    Linking Tickets with Another Family

No no, the friends didn't end up deciding to come until like 2 days into our trip. They lived 2 hours away and just drove up. I was just saying it's possible to link off-site and on-site people. What we did was add them to our current fastpasses. We just used the copy and paste function...

    Linking Tickets with Another Family

The ticket prices are not likely to go up from a week to week basis. What IS likely to change are hotel prices or discounts. Sometimes discounts available right now may not the longer you wait. But the opposite can also be true and things can open up. When we booked our WDW vacation in May of...
