I am going to be on the west cost in late October/early November and we are thinking about adding a couple of days in Anaheim to take in the Disneyland 60. Just wondering if you think the decorations and special shows will still be there during the Halloween season. Thanks :)

I was 9 the first time that I went to WDW, and was hooked from that point on :)

I stayed here last September and was disappointed. It wasn't that it wasn't Disney themed, but the rooms were run down, carpets were ripped, panels coming loose on elevator, etc. I was told afterwards that they were plans to renovate, but I am not sure if that happen or not.

My sister and I cruised on the Dream in September. We used Avis on the way to the cruise and Budget on the return. Both have shuttles to the cruise terminal, and allow for one way rentals. I would recommend either one of them.

The boardwalk and watching the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian are 2 of my favourites. Also love Downtown Disney (sometimes we catch a movie at the AMC - they are cheaper for the shows before noon), or we had out to the outlet malls for some retail therapy.

I stayed at the S&D back in September and was highly disappointed. The service was very good, but the room was rundown and in need of a refresh, and the fact that they have a resort fee for parking and internet adds to the cost even more. For the price, I would rather stay at a Disney property.
