Distinction between "theme park enthusiast" and "Disney Adult"

Agreed. Even if I’m 100% against the change - something like rivers is a major investment. LL, cutting magic express, and price hikes are only a negative.

    2025 was an awful year

The dig site, restaurant, animal trail, and gift shop all told a really cool story. The carnival left some to be desired but when they had lucky and the jugglers, etc. it was a fun and unique vibe.

If you make daily content on a popular topic it’s very easy to make some money.

Distinction between "theme park enthusiast" and "Disney Adult"

No…. That’s an IP / revenue obsessed management. Everything you mentioned except Epcot is one of the highest grossing movies / franchises of all time. It’s not Disney adults making that happen.

Disney shouldn’t cater to what the customer wants? Not sure what is screwing up the parks when it comes to Disney adults

Distinction between "theme park enthusiast" and "Disney Adult"

That’s not a fact, you’re trying to define something that does not have a solid definition. Heck…. People claim Chicago deep dish isn’t actually pizza. Things aren’t black and white.

Distinction between "theme park enthusiast" and "Disney Adult"

Exactly. If I’m an adult visiting multiple Disney properties each year (plus I saw lion king on broadway) I’m definitely a “Disney adult” - who cares?

Yeah…. DVC owner too. I love sir Walter - but spending money with Disney is spending money with Disney.

Distinction between "theme park enthusiast" and "Disney Adult"

That’s your definition. We all probably have our own definitions of the term. It’s not something I really think is particularly important- people can call me a Disney adult all day long. I guess I kind of am?

Distinction between "theme park enthusiast" and "Disney Adult"

Hi :) wasn’t trying to come across that way - I’m in an nyc diner and was quickly typing while waiting for my tuna. Maybe I didn’t realize how it came out thought I’m not sure why you took offense to it? I just don’t agree with your definition- that’s all :)

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

That is not true. My mom and I loved seeing those dinosaurs and last I checked we are still counted as “guests” when at WDW. Do I also enjoy guardians? Yes. My mom will never ride it, and that’s one less thing we can do together when visiting Epcot. That’s the point. It’s the same situation...

Distinction between "theme park enthusiast" and "Disney Adult"

Quoting from your original post - This is multiple definitions and not all the same thing. A Disney adult doesn’t = a vlogger, nor someone who doesn’t care about the history. For me, the general definition is an adult that enjoys going to Disney either by themselves, with adult friends...

    Tiger River Rapid

So I never saw it named such - but my mom has a t-shirt from way back in the day that says “tigger river rapids” with tigger and Pooh on it - it’s not branded as animal kingdom merch - but it wouldn’t make sense that Disney made that shirt randomly.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

That an issue for me with these changes - the Riverboat was literally the most accessible moving (ride) attraction at Walt Disney World. Muppets was also enjoyed by all ages - the new monsters show might be similar - but it could also be played down to a younger crowd
