I’ve never visited Magic Mountain - I’d like to since it has historic significance but it’s not an easy place to get to so it’s not worth the hassle for me personally.

And for those unfamiliar with the geeky transportation stuff - the Tradewinds is one of the larger, ADA accessible cruisers.

There are 6 launches (the smaller outdoor only boats with the really cool captains wheel!) and 4 cruisers which are ADA and have both indoor and outdoor seating. One cruiser has to be on each route to accommodate ADA.

Correct. I can’t compare 2 buildings I’ve seen with my own eyes? Lol. The physical rooms aren’t that different across WDW property - the discussion is the design of the buildings / towers.

I just stayed in June and would definitely not call them dated or drab. But I’ve only been through the lobby at Poly tower - so I can’t comment on the actual stay. I would say they are comparable but if you were impressed by the “Disney difference” at Poly tower maybe I’m missing something.

Yeah. How is the Poly tower nicer? I mean Moana splash pad aside. Haha

It will? SSR and Old Key West are trying to be something completely different. More like vacation condos - which are usually more like apartments / Townhomes. Both are also well themed - both feel like Disney Resorts.

The brand new Westin next to Disneyland looks about the same as the Poly tower and Disneyland DVC tower. Interior and exterior.

Oddly enough - the more serious Evac’s I’ve been a part of got me nothing. On the flip side… I once got loaded into a shows pre-show after capacity was hit and the CM was beyond apologetic and gave me multiple FP’s.

For Disneyland - Halloween and Christmas are usually very busy. I’m guessing this will become a yearly thing.
