I’m excited for additional capacity at DCA. But much more genuinely enthusiastic about Coco, Avatar, and the parking structure/bridge/entrance.

They are gonna make money hand over fist. Won’t be long before I start to associate Disneyland with the taste of those amazing potato balls. I’m gonna pop in every visit (crowds permitting).

I love the Tam, especially during the holidays when carolers go table to table. The “Table 31” is a great cocktail. I actually think the food is good/fine; certainly under-seasoned and a bit overpriced but I enjoy it for what it is — and it’s part of an overall very enjoyable experience.

Yes, this is the worrisome development. I should’ve been more clear in my initial post. Closing early on weekdays is typical during certain times of year; closing early on weekends is atypical.

In my experience, Fantasyland is pretty chill after 11pm (aside from Peter Pan's Flight). Alice might still be 15 minutes, but Toad, Snow White, and Pinocchio are typically walk-ons. Maybe I've been lucky. Also, the app lies. "25 minutes" for Indy after 11pm? I can almost guarantee it's a...

8am-9:30am and 10:30pm-12:00am are the only times Disneyland feels like the old days of Disney parks, before the app and endless planning. At the risk of sounding melodramatic, IMO it'd be tragic to lose that final hour.

If this is a permanent move, Disney is following the same playbook as every other company this decade -- raise prices, offer less. It's a huge bummer.

It's me and 5 other sickos marathon-ing the Fantasyland dark rides before midnight. Jokes aside, there's usually a decent number of guests still in the park after 11pm on a Friday or Saturday, enjoying a few final attractions with lower-waits and spending some money on Main Street. No doubt...

Why are Disneyland and DCA closing an hour early (11pm & 9pm, respectively) for the foreseeable future? Cynical cost-cutting measure?

It seems to me like a horrible error that Carousel of Progress, the attraction that most embodies Walt’s optimism for the future, is somehow not located within Disneyland. And since Tomorrowland is rotting away with no replacement in sight, I enjoy the fantasy that CoP could somehow return to...

Will guests be able to see the un-themed backside of Guardians from this expansion? If so, it’d be cool (I realize it’s unlikely) if WDI could add some theming or at least boost the aesthetic quality of the weird smooth beige back wall.

Is there evidence (or credible rumors) they're working on the attraction? Not trying to be cynical but I'd just assume the latter. I wonder what kind of post-8pm attendance they're projecting. I saw the show twice yesterday; it was pretty packed at 4pm and very dead by 7pm.

Yeah, I was vaguely aware of this. I must have seen it at “MGM” back in 2005. But I’m assessing Walt Disney - A Magical Life as most guests will: as a new experience at Disneyland.
