Why I like Monsters Inc Coaster and Muppet's Rock n' Roller Coaster

This is like 1 days worth of thought really... if you just go by "what's the simplest thing that fits the existing theme?" and then "what's the common denominator in other parks that people like?" it all kind of falls into place "thematically" ..."Imagining" is easy part, the hard, slow...

Why I like Monsters Inc Coaster and Muppet's Rock n' Roller Coaster

So, let’s say that The Muppets have vacated the MuppetVison 3D theater for a new home on Sunset Boulevard, and maybe we’re starting to think that turning that area into Monsters Inc Land isn’t the best idea… This concept art is a relatively inexpensive idea though; they’re really just making...

Why I like Monsters Inc Coaster and Muppet's Rock n' Roller Coaster

...So on to The Monster's Inc Coaster, I like the ride system, but I don't really like this location for it. Basically this is an inexpensive location to build this coaster, I’m assuming that’s why they’ve chosen to put it here, but I personally don't see the need for a whole big land themed...

Why I like Monsters Inc Coaster and Muppet's Rock n' Roller Coaster

I first joined this site 13 years ago when the plans for Disney World's New Fantasyland were announced/leaked... but in that time I've been really confused by most of the announcements for new additions to the Walt Disney World Resort. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me that they seem to...

    Permits 2024

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, "today staging area tomorrow something else" ...but the Rivers of America is roughly a 12 acre plot of land. The turquoise areas in this permit total about 48 acres, generally the "Construction Staging Area" doesn't need to be 4 times bigger than the...

    Permits 2024

Do you seriously think they need 48 acres of "construction staging"?

    Permits 2024

I noticed if you put all these plans together, and add in the Fire Mountain blueprint... not only do they all line up pretty well to, but it looks a lot like what they've proposed at Disneyland and California Adventure, which is "expand the parks to the west" ...and maybe that large resort area...

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Here's some crazy ideas... Permanently dock the Liberty Belle and turn it into a lounge with live music and a spot for watching parades and fireworks Keep Tom Sawyer Island but put a Pocahontas area/stage show in the center of it Build the Cars thing in Epcot next to Test Track replacing...

    Permits 2024

In this permit it looks like they are laying gravel down in areas "Marginally Suitable" for construction, and if you pair up this permit with the 2032 RCID Comprehensive Plan from February, right across Floridian Way there's a large area marked as "Potential Hotel/Resort" area, it's marked by...

    Worst Move in Parks History

WDI seems to think in terms of what I call "Disneyland Mentality" which is "cram as many rides as you can into that tiny park" but every themed hotel at Walt Disney World is about creating a kind of nostalgic ambiance for you to sit in and enjoy, and it's like they don't seem to get that the WDW...

Any Epcot purists cave into Cosmic Rewind yet?

I rode it, HATED IT, made me so darn dizzy I had to sit down a few minutes to get my head straight afterwards

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

The concept art they released is just that "a rough concept" kind of the look and "feeling they were going for, it's not like real thought out blueprints I had a similar idea that there could be a "path" near the Pinocchio Village Haus, but this is what "I wish" they would do... there's so much...

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

They "could" do that, but the cars thing seems like a quick fix to me... and I think if they get rid of that canal they can expand the new Tiana area and stick that Fire Mountain ride out in front of the park between Jungle Cruise and Pirates... at least I hope that's where this is heading maybe...

MK Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

As much as I'd like them to keep the River boat running, it's way cheaper and easier to permanently dock it, and I think cutting off that backstage canal is part of the objective here, because that canal lets snakes and alligators into The Rivers of America. Those warning signs all around...
