Just got back from my 11 day stay. We had a blast but feel extorted by Mickey Mouse.

And if you can live with less space you can find off-site hotels even cheaper and many will have free breakfasts. The cost of hotels should never be a reason people don't do Disney as that is one of the areas where you can find costs are often cheaper than at most any other vacation spot...

    Soarin' Evacuation (7/16/19)

The most appropriate way to have handled such an evacuation is for one CM to lead the group that is being evacuated out, the other CMs would be in the rear making sure everyone actually left. But once the lead CM had reached the final destination it would have been very appropriate for that...

    Annual Pass worth ?

It is still there for platinum/platinum +/premier passholders... Not sure about the Florida passes.

    Annual Pass worth ?

If you are simply close to a break even, then consider whether it really makes sense based on other things beyond ticket prices. If you like getting photos from Disney's photographers then that is a plus, it also will save you the parking cost at the parks. But you will have worst fastpass...

Disney Should NOT allow kids on shoulders during fireworks

About what? Have you never been to a large stadium concert? The reality in those is a person could be pointing a grenade launcher at the stage from the other end of the stadium and the person on stage wouldn't know it. Probably wouldn't even be aware of the grenade until it was exploding...

Issue with Firestick and DisneyNow... anyone have it working?

Problem solved after an hour with ***. So for anyone else having this issue, if you use *** for your cable you have two user IDs if your user ID is Bigwig then you can log into *** using either Bigwig or Bigwig@***.net However you have to use the user ID without @***.net when logging in the...

Disney Should NOT allow kids on shoulders during fireworks

I doubt the band can tell whether the audience is stand or sitting. Can hear applause but beyond area close to them they have no clue. Only way the audience in many venues can even see the artist is from the large monitors. Frankly i get the feeling that most bands don't care much about what...

Issue with Firestick and DisneyNow... anyone have it working?

Okay, we have cable with *** which has allowed us to access DisneyNow on a computer which when plugged into a TV lets the kids watch whatever Disney show they want whenever they want. Works just fine, but we were tired of having a laptop plugged into a TV all the time so we bought a Firestick...

My only complaint on the water is I don't think you can find water from a fountain that tastes as nasty as the stuff in WDW. It is almost as if they add disgusting flavoring to the water just to push you to buy the bottled stuff.... And I've traveled all over the country and have never tasted...

Disney Should NOT allow kids on shoulders during fireworks

I expect to see people standing on the floor on in the mosh pit... but never have understood the people standing the whole time in the normal seats... well except that the one common denominator I do notice with the people unable to sit is that they have always been drinking alcoholic...

Hard to get into it if you can't see it now isn't it?

Disney Should NOT allow kids on shoulders during fireworks

Never thought you had been tripped, but walking around with a kid blocking someone's view will certainly open you up to the possibility of someone doing it... in fact simply walking with a kid on your shoulders just to leave the park and not have to carry the kid in your arms is probably even...

Disney Should NOT allow kids on shoulders during fireworks

Hopefully those memories will make up for the one where someone got annoyed with your antics, tripped you and your kid face planted on the sidewalk... You might want to remember that there are people out there that don't care about you or your kid and will sometimes take matters into their own...

Disney Should NOT allow kids on shoulders during fireworks

doesn't even have to be someone on the shoulders to make a concert a problem. We took our youngest to a concert where some wonderful fans stood up for over an hour waving their arms, even when my daughter was standing as well she couldn't see past this idiots and even when she stood on her seat...

Disney Should NOT allow kids on shoulders during fireworks

It isn't just for fireworks when kids should be banned from shoulders it is all the time, parades, shows, everything that is being viewed is impacted by parents sticking kids on their shoulders. I know kids can't see well when they have 4 or 5 rows of adults standing in front of them, but in...
