Just a heads up Aquatica will be closed Monday through Thursday(1st - 4th) this week and next week (8th - 11th) for routine maintenance. It will be open Friday through Sunday weather permitted.
So back in January my buddies Adam and Mikey drank around Epcot, like so many others have done. The only minor difference is I caught the entire event on video. If you are on Facebook you can watch them at...
Out of business? Really? This isn't the Hard Rock park that just opened last year and closed. InBev couldn't afford to lose all that money by just closing it down. They will sell when the market gets better. But close it? At this time I find that hard to believe. But what do I know.
Sure there is alot of construction going on but everything isn't closed... just... detoured. Over at Islands of Adventure they are building up the Harry Potter area and have detoured Dueling Dragons. And over at Universal they are still building up the Rip Roarin' Coaster which is growing...
Yea leaving the lot was pretty bad. The only CM's directing traffic were at the end of the lot. And people breaking the line and going up to the front and push in sucked too. If everyone had just been Disney-like we would have gotten out in a timely manner. Oh well. Here are a few pics of...
I assure you that 89 stores closed in June of 2008. I should know, my wife and I were both store managers and both of our stores closed. In fact all 4 stores in our area closed. As for any future closures that I hadn't heard about.
Here are a couples shots I took last week. Sorry they aren't better I will have to head back and take some more from different angles.

I saw the show on preview night and it was fun. I still have yet to see Believe or Shamu Rocks. There is alot of use of the big screens with children and the meaning of a miracle. There is a choir and a soloist singer. And even though the show is the last of the night and it does get cold at...
There are 2 areas you can see the Commerson's. First when you walk into the park the tank is right there and you can see them swimming around. At certain hours of the day trainers come out and feed them or do things with them so you get a better view. The second viewing area is at the bottom...
To see those false killer whales, or Commerson Dolphins, you have to go over to Aquatica Water Park right next door to Sea World Orlando. Currently were open all year round and we have 4 Commerson Dolphins on display. And you can even go down the Dolphin Plunge and go right past them, though...
I just started working at Sea World about 3 weeks ago. Manta started off as a large area of dirt and as of today they are putting pieces of track up. It's pretty amazing to see new chuncks up everyday.
Besides that, the new Allure show opened up over the weekend.
Oh and Spooktackular on the...
Now I've been wrong before...many times on this forum... but from what I've read of the backrupsy docket it seems the Disney Company witll Aquire at least 180 stores and no more than 220. The docket also stated that this list is fluid and can and will change. That means that any store on the...
Now you must remember this is not a final list. This is the list of remaining stores that WD has not decieded upon yet.

go to H for HOOP and then the docket.
docket #91 click on images and then exhibit b part 3. the list is on pgs 39-40
Folks, I've seen the list. It's not pretty. My mananger sent it to me so I don't have the link. I would reprint it but this list is NOT official. I mean it's official because it's in a legal document, but is NOT the FINAL list. It can still change for better or worse for stores. Let's just...
Let's just go over what we do know.
We know that the Children's Place plans on getting this deal done by May 1st.
We know that the Walt Disney Company plans on taking 2/3 of the stores.
That leaves about 115 stores closing.
According to the press release, the Walt Disney Company will...
