    It is not as bad as it looks. They will still have about 100,000 employees, which is about 20,000 more than they had pre -covid. They had a huge growth during the pandemic and now need to cut back.

    In addition sit down restaurants are dead and have been most of the summer. I have friends and family that work in food and beverage. They have never seen it this slow property wide. Even restaurants like Ohana are slower than usual.

    I know people that worked there. Sales were really low there especially during big sporting events. Can't make money when tables don't turnover. It had very low sales per person.

    ESPN wasn't a money maker. It was either slow or full of people camping out at tables watching sporting events for 3-6 hours.

    Disney inflated ride times at closing even before Genie. This is done to discourage people from getting in line before closing. It is a cost saving measure to clear out rides and reduce labor etc...

    No don’t think it is illegal, just padding the books to make things look better than they really are which seems to be the norm in corporations lately. Not just Disney.

    TV channels are Dinosaurs going extinct. Cruise line is actually doing really well but I consider them floating resorts and right or wrong lumped them in with parks.
