Len Testa - “Disney positions itself as the all-American vacation. The irony is that most Americans can’t afford it.”

Its actually sad because he literally has 3 of the most iconic IP’s & somehow has found a way to F it or at bare minimum barely capitalizing on it. People will pay and pay mightily. For some reason he is afraid if they expand and offer longer hours that will stop and its anything but. People...

Whats crazy is of they would have ramped up expansion during this “reset” it would have worked marvelously

Is it really or is it more to do with a diminished product shuttered attractions less entertainment & hours so on and so forth? If they execute these current projects flawlessly and that is a BIG IF numbers will come back like never before

People live off credit cards and debt. Always have always will…. Even more so now then ever before whether out of necessity or luxury plus this generation to me has a sense of entitlement that multiple vacations are a birth right vs something that you do as long as you can afford it…. So i think...

They bring back the pay for 4 days get 7 day deals… “free dining” and possibly let you combo some room discounts. I am in agreement but ill admit they have lasted longer than i would have thought with this model. Granted i get as you pointed out we havent seen a real recession in awhile.

Altho i see your point i think you are comparing apples to oranges. The Starcruiser wasnt a vacation it was a 2 day event the Ultra or even simply Rich dont want to be told a schedule etc. they want to pay one price upcharges etc and do their thing and do as least as possible. At least from my...

Hence the criticism regarding stock price as we have discussed but if a recession comes tough to single out any company really if business slows down. Personally the DCL from things ive seen and read discounts etc may be a bigger issue for him

Altho i agree with everything you have said and agree Iger gets passes all the time… something also needs to be said about being able to extract so much more money from these guests and also myself included have said this is a model that seems unattainable yet here we are and its still standing…...

Thats what is the most irritating. Less entertainment & hours reduced closed attractions and constant overlays vs true expansion

Again everyone can choose what they wanna do. Its not lik Disney is the only place who has raised prices. Everyday life has gone up. If i told you what my house/home insurances have risen in a year along with my utilities its disgusting. I am a divorced Dad who at most times is only one in the...

Totally understand and agree. I always get PH but i can see families who vacation differently and dont want to deal with all that back and forth and some who really just arent educated enough which as discussed in other threads are plenty

I can understand that. Listen. I use to stay Deluxe/Moderate depending on who/when but i finally said whats the point. Im barely in hotel. I rent a car may as well stay Value and stay longer or spend same. To may wasting all that money on a hotel im barely in is pointless to me its principle...

We usually agree but you numbers are wrong. I just checked to be sure. 7 day PH is an extra $100. To me thats insignificant cost and honestly if one is unsure they can book a regular ticket and if use it simply upgrade. Its a free option but $100 for 7 park days is nothing
