Back on topic... We mostly quite liked the use of 'friend' on our recent trip, although very much depended on who used it and in what context. Spoken in the early morning from a cheery CM made it a very sweet start to the day.. Late in evening after a long day but prior to MK Fireworks when the...
Centertown Market and Grab & Go are open at Caribbean Beach and have been since midday. We went there for dinner a couple of hours ago. I think the Disney website just took a little while to update the page for the restaurants
Took a quick stroll around our area of CBR. Looks like a small tree has fallen and there's plenty of branches strewn about. No flooding around here though.
Also, another nod to CMs. Not only has she been given the short straw for being on post-hurricane clean-up ops, but she couldn't have been...
The Disney CMs have been awesome. So helpful yesterday providing meal kits and extra provisions for the rooms, and generally upbeat keeping guests calm, positive and prepared. You forget they're going through the same thing and have themselves and their own lives to worry about. We arrived from...
From our room we can see a few leaves and a branch or two that have been thrown around. We'll venture out a bit later this morning to assess the rest of the resort
Currently at Caribbean Beach. The worst has now passed, and can't see any damage or flooding outside our window. We had to put some towels down though to stop the wind driving the water under the door and ac unit. The carpet's a little damp but it's fine
Really interesting to see the variety that makes up people's top rides/attractions, and yes, shows/parades absolutely count!
So I thought it would be fun to add some points to the selections, to find out what is the most popular?.. Points are simple, 1st place pick gets 5 points, 2nd place...
DW has submitted her Top 5 too (after much careful deliberation)
1. Fantasmic
2. Tower of Terror
3. Peoplemover
4. Expedition Everest
5. Under The Sea
Special shout-outs to Test Track, Haunted Mansion and Mission Space (Orange)
A very good spread! What I find interesting reading through the posts is the love for some of the more historically 'under-rated' attractions like TTA Peoplemover (although not quite so 'under-rated' anymore) and in particular Living with the Land. Exceptional rides, so it's good to see them...
They're all long rides too which is awesome... I love a roller coaster (hence why Space and EE are in my top 5), but you can't help but feel a little short changed when you queue for ages and the ride is over after a couple of minutes.
Less than 5 months until DW and I get to return to WDW, and I'm getting more and more excited by the day. But it got me thinking about my favourite rides/attractions, and I was curious to find out what other people's are too??
I'm talking about rides/attractions currently in operation in MK...
