The summer of ‘82 I had graduated HS… a season pass was about 50 bucks…my first car was my aunt’s ‘72 Olds 98… fit me+ 6 friends. Gas was about $1.00/gallon…we’d all chip in a few bucks, fill the tank & every weekend, we’d alternate GA & Seaside…GA open til midnight Fridays & Saturdays…aah...

The restaurants like Yum Yum Palace, Best of the West, the GIANT outdoor train layout that was SOOOOO much nicer than the layout at Epcot in Germany…the arena for the western shows and then concerts…saw some AWESOME concerts there AND they were open until midnight!

Yes, we desperately need starting pitching…the problem is Sterns won’t agree to long term contracts with ANY player (It’s been his m.o. his whole GM career). Cohen perceived himself to be the savior for Mets fans but he dumped salary on the wrong players and wrong places and now it’s coming...

As a Mets fan, I agree 1000%…they (Sterns AND Cohen) have alienated fans for letting Diaz & Alonso walk as well as losing the Tucker sweepstakes to LA…now they have to do SOMETHING, but I feel it’s too little too late.

Having watched them play live for 30 years, we Jets fans always knew they played a little dirty…double penalties OPI & roughing the passer on one play…I think that’s when Bo broke the ankle…
