Port Orleans Riverside. Great pool, great grounds, outstanding food court. Very relaxing and doesn't seem as crowded as it actually is. Always stayed there when my kids were younger. They loved it.
This thread gives me a chuckle.
If people regularly board gondolas in ski boots and ten winter layers I think boarding one in shorts and a t-shirt will be no problem. (Done it and it IS easy)
Relax everyone and enjoy the views.
I'm very torn on Animal Kingdom. Part of me loves it because there are less rides so you can relax a bit and enjoy the surroundings. But I also do wish it had one or two more.
People complain that the parks are too crowded.....
People complain that the parks are now empty upon the opening of Star Wars.....
Tough bunch.
Pictures of SWGE look awesome. Can't wait to get down there eventually.
Not too familiar with that area. Always enter WDW from the east. Is there enough traffic and homes on that side to warrant a giant shopping development? Seems pretty isolated over there.
Love Tom Sawyer's Island. As others have said great place for kids to be kids and adults to relax. It's got everything kids love with no structure. Need more of this.
I think WDW is way overpriced but the truth tells me otherwise. I think NFL games are way over-priced but attendence tells me otherwise. I wouldn't even let my wife tell me what she paid for Hamilton tickets. I just think Disney's prices aren't as over-bloated as we all might think.
I don't know the answer to this but how have WDW's prices risen compared to concerts? Sporting Events? Movies? Broadway? and other forms of entertainment? Seems like EVERYTHING is expensive today.
It amazes me how many people are against this. The walk from HS to the Epcot resort area is one of my favorites. No crowds, no rush, no crush.
You walk all day in the parks anyways...what's another 15/20 minutes?
It will be nice to walk and not be stuffed in a bus or monorail like a NYC subway. Good way to unwind. Again...you don't have to utilize it. It's just another transportation option.
