This is not true at all. Internal transfers come from Casting itself, and not the line of business such as merchandise. Your managers have nothing to do with getting a full time position with the company. They contact casting letting them know they have positions available, and then Casting...
Honestly, from what i've heard they are trying to cutback on hiring seasonal people. (Which means they will probablly hire more freakin CP's, ughhh) But thats another story. :p
I am currently a PT Attractions Host at the Hollywood Studios, and I had a few questions about possibly going into Security. First and foremost I am a college student at UCF, and I am majoring in Criminal Justice. I really want to advance my career with the Disney company by getting into the...
I am currently a seasonal cast member about to go back to PT with the company. As far as being seasonal is concerned, when you get hired as a seasonal cast member, you pretty much have to have full availability especially for the peak seasons, at least starting out.
When you go from being PT...

Well it looks like officially it's going to be going down for a couple of months. I am still surprised Disney never announced it. Oh well, it's in need of a desperate refurb, and lets just hope it gets the attention it deserves.
Wow, I didn't realize so many people enjoyed this attraction, and hopefully it will be back up for everybody to enjoy their vacations in the next coming months.
Raven, the new boat is in boat storage, and is red tagged over to the side right next to the maintenance area. As a current cast...
Yeah I think they started doing this just because it probablly makes more sense, especially since they're paying for the postage to thousands of cast members. It's just more conveniant for both parties.
There's also talk on the table for the possibility of the 'Circle of Life' theatre getting an overhaul with a new film in the near future, featuring an ALL Digital film from the creators of 'Planet Earth.'
It seems that the slow "Living with the Land" boat ride will be getting a refurb going down August 2, 2009 and will be down for at least two months. They're going to be adding new boats to the flume, new video in the barn scenes. The main purpose of the refurb is the structure of the queue area...
