I think the Star Wars fandom remains huge. I think the toxic "fandom Menace" is small. But that small group has tremendous sway over narrative. No matter how huge a fandom is, it pales before the general public. The general public/ casual fans want in on anything with a bit of buzz around...

That's something I noticed with every new episode of Bad Batch. They've really mastered using color and light for a more cinematic feel. This also has a more painterly quality. Gorgeous to look at. Thanks K.K.

They should throw in "Alita Fallen Angel" and "Alita Avenging Angel" while they're at it.

Anakin and Padme had adventures there as well. As did characters who haven't even been conceived of yet. Batuu works in that it can serve any time period with only minor tweaks, or in the majority of areas, none at all.

Looking back at what's been done under Kennedy's tenure I can honestly say the only project I don't see myself revisiting ever again is "Resistance." But even that was a gorgeous production with an amazing art style and great side-characters. But that show had my least favorite character ever...

The broader problem may be something I'd call "Domestic Fatigue".

Last year gave us Skeleton Crew, Andor, and Visions. All bold, great new Star Wars- or I guess, damaged beyond repair.

How about for every contract renewal extension Kennedy had the fandom menace takes a decade off?

I have a feeling the project he's talking about that was cut by 1/3rd was "Horizons." I'll have to check but I recall hearing a very similar story in regards to that pavilion.

Finally got to see this. If you enjoyed the "Ents are going to war" sequence in "The Two Towers" than this is for you. I loved it. My one and only complaint is that when the squids rose up I thought we were going to see the Pandoran version of a giant squid and I'm upset they didn't go there.

I think they're referring to the elevator with the trio, not the one we're in.

Prepare to be whelmed and probably a bit frustrated.
