This is what i thought too… The 50th color scheme looked too oversaturated especially the blue. It looks more fake and toylike. The old color scheme was more simple and easy on the eyes. It’s supposed to evoke French and German castles while also having that fantasy fairytale look. I’m happy...

You might be right, the most postive thing from Siemens sponsorship was removing the wand from the SSE building. The rest of ride got downgraded with the screens replacing the finale, and the dumbed down narration. I still enjoy the ride as it is, but the Jeremy Irons version was better.

Ron Schneider met an imagineer who worked on the 2nd version of the ride. He said that what went wrong was combination of budget constraints and company politics. Kodak wouldn't continue sponsorship if the ride wasn't changed. Disney was reluctant to spend serious money on the ride. Apparently...

It's a shame they didn't leave the original sign in place, It wouldn't look that out of place with the scientific institute theme.

This is a nice addition 👍. Its not 1 to 1 the same, but the palm trees do bring it closer to the opening day look.

It wasn't pretty looking... but it sold you on the idea that you were visiting a real car testing facility, especially in the pre-show with all the scientific details about car testing. As a kid first time I rode it I almost believed it was a real, as there was so much information to take in.

I think the building was repainted to match Kodak's branding colors (yellow and red). Also they were incorporating theming from HISTA which had the imagination institute.

I made this a year ago in photoshop for a bit of fun... If they ever redo the pavilion, a new paint job and signage, would make the building look much nicer.

They could if they wanted too, there's already a ride like that with guardians. IMHO, If they keep the two tracks it keeps it different to the other space mountains.

For me personally I would like them to retrack the two ride tracks rather than a single track, it keeps WDW's space mountain unique from the other versions. If they could also add some prop asteroids and planets, and a new re-entry tunnel at the end that would help modernise the ride while...

I wish they would show us more concept art, all we've seen is two images and a logo... :rolleyes:. Still I am curious what the world of motion influence will be...

You can see the slots for lights in the canopy. Looks they've kept the same canopy design from the concept art so far...
