I know that from the old imagineering guides they had. But I still feel like it wasn't the best choice. I get the homage. I still like the idea of a science based themed area in an nature animal theme park.

It might be over a year away or longer. I'm sure that a major attraction system unique to the parks identity will be treated with care. Its not just a basic dark ride here. This is one of their few water based thrill attraction.

You don't know what will happen. We all know they anonouced it recently. Honestly I was shocked. They claimed that they were working on this for at least a year. What if they have elements completed.
Sadly, Disney has to compete in the current social structure. This illness might impact how parades and nighttime shows for a while.
Disney has to really invest their money wisely.
While I am not a daytime parade fan. I prefer nighttime entertainment. I do love the fact that I get short waits...

The ride will still have the same ride system. It will have the same drops. Ultimately, the theme of a southern Atlanta themed mountain into a Louisiana themed Mountain wouldn't truly effect the Frontierland landscape.
See, I think that the tech had potential but only if the story they tell has the heart to match the tech.
Its why shows like Illuminations impress me. When u know the story it just makes you feel like your in another world for the show length.
I welcome this new attraction. I hope they keep the name of splash mountain somehow. . If I ride an IP ride, I want to be able to watch the movie at home too. i feel like them altering the ride on a movie that we can watch when home will greater impact the synergy of the ride.

The new normal will effect how disney plans it future rides. Lots of things getting canceled. Its a hard time for any business that relies on crowds right now.
As for the other 2 attactions... ya.. it was time for stitch to leave and whirl was just very... tacky. I hope they expand this area of dinoland into more scientific based attractions cause I like the theme of dinosaur. I am a dino geek lol. Universal has jurassic park/world to get the sci-fi...
