If you got spoiled by the Poly, always remember that renting DVC points through a reputable broker like David's is a heckuva lot cheaper than shelling out rack rate for a deluxe.

One of the things I am looking forward to is having the kids both educated and on their own, so that the wife and I can get some good use out of our DVC. I could see the "Epcot Food and Wine Festival" becoming an annual pilgrimage. That said, my 16-year-old daughter has already said she wants...

Yikes! Rope drop is not anywhere on our priority list, partly due to mob scenes like this, but mainly due to the fact that I am the only person in the family who is a morning person (a condition imposed on me during a 30-year air force career), and the aggravation of trying to get everyone else...

When we booked our very first WDW/DCL vacation back in late 2008, we used a TA. Due to my unfamiliarity with WDW and DCL and the complexity of everything -- 5 days at WDW for 4 of us pre-cruise, followed by a 7-night DCL cruise for 14 people, with multiple flight itineraries, DME, pre-cruise...

So our "non-park day" on Wednesday, March 7 has now become a "half-non-park day", as we will likely spend the late afternoon and evening at MK for evening EMH. That will make Friday (our scheduled MK day) a bit less hectic.
