Interesting that the original small world in Tokyo is being refurbished while they build a new ride. I wonder if it will be used to test something new before they move the ride to its new home, or if it's just a quick something new while construction is going on

Why not have a bicycle rental service? I know it won't solve any of the issues but at least here in Europe bike rental schemes like the London 'boris bikes' are being used more often for short distance trips. I'm sure this could be done with minimal investment. On the main issue is love to see...

Yep very easy - just get it at the ticket office. TIP also get a metro map to plan your route around The Paris metro is convenient and super easy to get around. Paris is a beautiful city I hope you have a lovely time
