Found this tip on another thread. I tried it and it worked for me as well. I kept seeing only 2:25pm time open, but after doing this "trick" a few times I was given a 1:10pm. "I found a pseudo way to refresh!!! For a given attraction... Say Rockin Roller Coaster at HS. At the moment 11:49am...

I would rather wait in line than "do shopping".

By selecting refresh I was able to see a 12:45pm return for slinky after first seeing a 5:25pm.

Sure it has gotten a lot of backlash since its announcement, but I doubt very much that Disney will not make an announcement of the free version of Genie. Anything they give away free is big news to them.

What are the chances of Disney getting the Sh*t figured out and getting this out sooner?

Replying to my own question here, but just got some intel from a pretty reliable source that the earliest we will see Genie launch will be the week of Oct 16.

I thought most if not all of the signage was now up.

He works at Hollywood Studios so we were only talking WDW. He did say when they asked about launch they were only told TBD. Also that training was scheduled then it got suspended but has resumed.

I spoke with a CM who just completed his Genie training. He did confirm that stacking is available. It will work the same as legacy paper fast pass where you can get a new pass after 2 hours if your selected pass is later in the day.
