DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

good riddance to this underwhelming land and attractions. only wish they could've kept the boneyard. that was the only redeeming thing about that area of the park. so glad I'll never have to hear 'not our dino' as we stop every 10 seconds to see a crappy AA dinosaur that only half works whilst...

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

good point. it may be so far gone that the ROI on a refurb would be more than starting from scratch with something new.

I hope the new play area has big slides like the boneyard did.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I can only wish that SM would get a complete overhaul. It used to be so great, but pales in comparison to DL's effects and just feels tired and old now when riding it.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Tron feels like the proof of concept for Cosmic Rewind (effects wise). Big Thunder is my favorite ride at MK, and can't wait for the upgraded effects. Living in San Diego for years we really got used to DL's version, so MK's was always a bit of a let down the last decade. It's still super fun to...

DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

i know they're not going to add real water to it, but something like MMRR or Shanghai's POTC screenz is what I'm thinking.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

It's 100% the best coaster the Disney has come up with.

Indy does spend a lot of time in boats or in rivers, either falling from planes, getting chased by religous sects through Venice, driving ducks down waterfalls, as well as exploring underwater shipwrecks... It'd be neat to see the ride vehicle be some sort of amphibeous vehicle of sorts.

News Next Gen Animatronic Face Tech Shows Major Leap in Disney Character Realism

I think for me the problem is the local groups that come to WS and meander through it carrying enough booze to satisfy a group of sailors on shore leave. They really gum up an already overcrowded area with their .2 mph walking. You get a group of half a dozen or more (which seems to be quite...

    WOL Demo coming ..

I will say that MS has been seriously neglected the last 5 or so years. They seem to ignore it like they did with Dino in AK, letting it slowly rot away with nary a refurb in sight. The last 2 visits we've ridden it there were multiple things not working inside the capsules and the video you...

    WOL Demo coming ..

That's the whole point of Disney though. To paint the great big beautiful tomorrow.

    WOL Demo coming ..

You know what the point value would be on that if it came to fruition??? Holy crap.

    WOL Demo coming ..

you mean a real, full sized, modernized IASW (instead of the 5 min crap show that MK has)? I was thinking the same thing. Since it's in FW though, perhaps something actually relevant to our future?

    Dinosaur has seen better days

Indy at DL, woof... That ride has nearly the same down time as it does operating time. Coming out of COVID, it was only operating about 2 hours a day. But yes, DL gets a lot more love and updates in comparison to WDW.

    Dinosaur has seen better days

To be fair, they've only barely maintained the ride to 'adequate' standards for the last 10-15 years. It hasn't been up to 'Disney' standards for a long while. Nor has JII seen ANY love other than an overpriced popcorn bucket. And let's face it, while both were once great fun, 90% of the time...
