Sorry if any of this has already been posted. I was at IOA over the last week and was able to get this picture through the fence of the Hogsmeade train station. We saw train conductors in white/red uniforms standing in groups around the platform over 2 days. Over at Diagon Alley the lights...
My sister and her boyfriend are in Disney right now and staying at All Star Sports for the week. He is planning proposing to her tonight in front of the castle during the fireworks. Does anyone know of a service where I could have wine or champagne sent to their room? Either by phone or online?
It'd be funny to call those phones and use a British accent, etc and play into the theme!
Are there any other payphones on property in themed areas like that? ie: any on the New York set at DHS?
I love Disney but I could never get up at 7 or 8am for it. I hate the morning time and would be tortured to even try to enjoy myself at that hour. On the flip side, I LOVE EMH at night. Staying in MK until 3am is the best; really, any of the parks late at night is pretty incredible. Yeah...
We have used a shuttle service called "Mears" to go to Universal Studios from our Disney hotel which also goes to Sea World. I believe they charge $19.00 a person round trip. You call a number to reserve a pick up time and they can pick you on the hour. It is also flexible on the pick up time...
This is a good example of Disney not being well prepared for these situations. That "Security" is equipped with pepper spray and no handcuffs. If he could have handcuffed that drunk subject it would have gone a lot smoother. Why did it take assistance so long to respond?
Pepper Spray will...
There are several adult themed rides in the various Disney Parks, but I do tend to agree the marketing and overall additions have been catered towards children and younger children at that. I understand the big dollar will come from families and specifically those with kids, but I don't think...
Yeah I took my girlfriend in May.. and while she enjoyed it, she doesn't have the attention to detail, etc that I do. She enjoyed the rides and noted there weren't enough "thrill rides." I guess she just didnt' feel like spending $1,000.00+ a person was a good value for what there was to do...
I don't know how you do it. I am not a morning person at all and just don't generally enjoy anything at 7 or 8am. I don't usually sleep in like I would at home but try to get leaving by 10, 11.. sometimes noon. However, I will be at the park until they close every night. I love it when they...
Yeah, the pre-show is very outdated. "Murder She Wrote" went off the air in 1996. I think that "new fangled" video conferencing is called Skype now and everyone does it with ease from their phones. I hate when attractions are so out of date like this. It wouldn't take alot of money or a...
I do enjoy the T2-3D show but it has been there since 1999! I think the Terminator franchise is a great one but I'm surprised only a 3D show came of it - certainly a dark ride or Spidermanesque ride would have been pretty awesome!
I think the T23D queue is pretty horrible. Those overhead...
I like both attractions but I think Terminator would be my choice. While ET is dated and alot of kids may have no clue who he is - this one of very few "kid friendly" rides that a family can ride together and caters to children (with adults enjoying it too). I love ET and would hate to see it...
I went two years in a row during March. It was busy, but not horrible like summer time busy. I then read posts about the advantages of going in May and have been 3 times in May. I highly recommend people to go in May if they can do it.
Firstly, March's weather is not always guaranteed...
I totally understand what you mean about rain ruining a WDW trip. We went 2 years ago in late August and landed as a tropical storm circled over Orlando for most of our trip. We hadn't been to Disney in 3 years and booked an 8 day trip. The constant rain ruined our trip for several reasons...
2 years ago I went in the 3rd week of August. It was warm, but not over bearing. The crowds were nice as well. The one thing that ruined my trip (that I never thought of) was a pleasant tropical storm that rolled in 2 days before we flew out. It circled over Orlando for 5 of 7 days and...
