I can't see offering room service costing a "ton of resources" for resorts that already have onsite restaurants. Literally just put some of the menu items from the QS or TS restaurant on it and hire 1 or 2 delivery people near minimum wage based on demand

It's all anecdotal/conjecture.. but I find it hard to believe that most guests miss the giant yeti statue with a strobe light on it in a pitch black room (other than the yeti strobe). I'm sure some do... but it's literally the only thing to see for about half a second. I'm sure some people miss...

I used it once on my last trip (at the Hilton Disney Springs). With AK closing at 6pm and with an almost 2 year old... we just ordered room service and ate in our room and started winding him down. It's at least nice to have the option. With a restaurant already on site... it really cant cost...

I would imagine a huge cost/logistical difference between putting this AA ~25 feet off the ground vs 150+. If they were designing it today, they probably would have built a full stop at the yeti then used either a tilt or drop track.

Yeah Spring Rolls is my guess. Pizza and cheeseburger spring rolls fit the "kid food" vibe.

Depends on who "they" are... I don't think Disney has officially ever said what the WDW mountain rage is. Obviously Thunder, Splash, Space, and Everest all have/had it in the official name. However, places like touring plans considers 7D part of the mountains as well...
