Thank you everyone for the input
Weather_Lady was right: double beds were the concern at AoA, or else it would've been an easy choice!
As it turns out, the dates and the exact composition of our traveling party are now up in the air, so I'm waiting for more information before I can even make...
I don't know if I'd say that this looks so far from an early spring completion. I work in construction, and while I fully acknowledge that I don't know exactly all that is entailed in what they are trying to build here, this doesn't necessarily look to be in such bad shape from the photos. I...
I thought Rivers of Light was supposed to open in March/April 2016, but today's article says May. :(
Do we know for sure this is delayed now? I'll be so disappointed to miss it by just a couple weeks.
I've been to AoA a few times with this same child, but he was stroller-age. I never minded the walk to the mermaid rooms, but I'm willing to bet that after a park day he will.
I'm afraid I'm a little spoiled by AoA's food court (which we, admittedly, don't use too much anyway, but I like the...
I'd be interested to hear what everyone would recommend for our next stay:
My friend, her four-year-old, and I will be sharing a room. We really enjoyed AoA in the past but are concerned that the Little Mermaid rooms are going to be too small for our party now. She doesn't mind sharing a bed...
Maybe no pony ride, but what about going to the stables to meet the horses?
(Sorry, I don't know how I attached this response to the wrong post. Suggestion still stands, though...)
Actually, I just heard on the Disney Brit Podcast featuring Dave McBride from Radio Harambe that the gentleman who made the cast of the footprint (Josh Gates) specifically wanted it displayed in this attraction and spent two years trying to get in touch with Joe Rohde about the matter. Rohde...
Right. They are laid out in a Mickey shape, but don't try and guess based on the age/quality of the towel that it's a towel animal you can take home. Sorry, but those are your towels for the day! ;)
I mean, they cover them with stickers and stick pipe cleaners through them. Can you imagine them then cycling them through the wash and leaving them in a room for guests to use? They're meant to be taken or they are likely trashed (or, I'm afraid...maybe passed on to another room, who knows)...
I've never kept them, but I know its permitted. You can tell they are thinner than the towels you're supposed to actually use (and mine have usually just been small, like washcloths).
